WWE Hell in a Cell 2012 Predictions: Projecting Main Event Winner and More
Sunday night's WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event is sure to be full of drama-drenched storylines and plenty of twists and turns. But don't expect many surprises in terms of match winners.
From Divas champion Eve taking on Layla and Kaitlyn in a triple threat title match to Intercontinental champion Kofi Kingston and The Miz squaring off in an IC matchup, the winners seem predictable this time around.
Still, many of these feuds have lots to offer and should produce some entertaining back-and-forth matches for those who decide to throw down the money for this weekend's PPV.

Here are some of my projections for this weekend's WWE Hell in a Cell.
Randy Orton Will Claim a Much-Needed Victory
One of the more anticipated battles scheduled for Sunday's PPV is Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio in a singles match. Both stars are equally capable of walking away victorious, but I give Orton the edge.
Orton should land an RKO at a pivotal moment, silencing Del Rio and his critics en route to a much-needed win. Orton has fallen out of the championship picture, but a win at Hell in a Cell Sunday night could cure that.
A versatile star, Orton is worthy of the spotlight and can begin to make his way back into it with a strong performance against Del Rio Sunday night in Atlanta.
Sheamus Will Pummel Big Show
Sheamus vs. Big Show? Really? Sure, Show has been on a tear as of late, but his character is too worn out to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
With the very real chance that Dolph Ziggler will cash in on his Money in the bank briefcase Sunday night, I can only see this singles match ending one way: Sheamus pummeling Big Show and winning easily.
Show is a legend of wrestling, and one of the all-time great entertainers, but his best days are behind him and it's Sheamus' time now.
CM Punk Will Survive and Retain Title
CM Punk is the current WWE champion, and he'll retain that title on Sunday night at WWE Hell in a Cell.
If you asked me to pick the better physical specimen of the two, I'd go with Ryback. If you asked me who I'd take in a street fight, it would be Ryback. But in a Hell in a Cell matchup, where anything can and will happen, I like Punk to outlast his massive challenger.
The main event is guaranteed to thrill and create doubt in the minds of fans, but in the end, only one man is sure to survive—the champion, CM Punk. Ryback is coming, but it's not his time just yet.
