BMW Championship 2012 Schedule: TV Info, Live Stream and Tee Times for Round 2
The BMW Championship is a crucial stop on the way to winning the FedEx Cup. After this tournament, the field is cut down to the Top 30 on the points leaderboard—with those players advancing to the Tour Championship to determine a playoff victor and conclude the 2012 season.
As of right now, Rory McIlroy is ahead of the pack with 4,799 points, three victories and eight top-ten finishes. He looks poised to win it all, but Tiger Woods (3,417 points, three victories and seven top-ten finishes) could easily play spoiler.

Golfers to Watch
Tiger Woods
Tiger needs a victory this weekend to boost his fast-fading chances of capturing the FedEx Cup.
He’s over 1,000 points behind McIlroy and can hardly afford to fall further back from the lead.
Woods set the tournament record score back in 2007, shooting a 22-under-par for his first of two victories in the BMW Championship.
A third is almost necessary, at this point, for the golf legend to win it all this postseason.
Rory McIlroy
McIlroy is currently in cruise control on his way to his first ever FedEx Cup championship.
He’s the overwhelming favorite in the tournament and would need some bad breaks to let anyone snatch victory from his grasp.
While the young Irishman has had epic collapses before (The Masters in 2011), he’s grown as a golfer and person since, and has the fortitude to avoid another meltdown.
Expect Rory to walk away with a top-ten finish in the BMW Championship and a FedEx Cup trophy after the Tour Championship.
Nick Watney
Watney has had an up-and-down season in 2012, but finished with a clutch win at The Barclays earlier in the FedEx Cup playoffs, and followed with a respectable No. 20 finish at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
If he can sneak a win in at the BMW, he’s got a legitimate chance of shocking the world and usurping McIlroy atop the points leaderboard by the end of the postseason.
Keep a close eye on Watney, as he’s a dark horse in this race.
