Bobby Petrino Mistress Reportedly Still Engaged, Heading to South Carolina

Remember Jessica Dorrell, the young mistress of former Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino? Well, she is still engaged and headed to South Carolina. 

Fits News (h/t Big Lead Sports) reports Dorrell is still very much engaged to her fiancee Josh Morgan and is following him to Columbia, South Carolina. 

Many will remember the Bobby Petrino motorcycle accident that took place back in April of this year. It was later found that 25-year old Dorrell was actually on the back of the bike when it went down. 

Slowly, details of the accident and a ongoing relationship between the coach and University employee came to light. 

One of the more unfortunate aspects was Dorrell being engaged to Morgan who was then the Director of Swimming and Diving Operations at Arkansas. 

The fallout from the affair was immense. Petrino lost his job, Morgan moved on and so did Dorrell. From the land of the bizarre comes news that is rather shocking. 

Dorrell and Morgan are still an item, via the report.

According to our sources, Dorrell’s fiance Josh Morgan—the former operations director for Arkansas’ swimming and diving program—has been hired as the new strength and conditioning coach for the University of South Carolina men’s and women’s swimming programs. In fact Morgan and Dorrell were said to have been in Columbia, S.C. last weekend being feted by a group of “very wealthy USC donors.”

Not only are the two headed to USC, they are being received with great aplomb. Dorrell is landing firmly back on her own two feet. 

An update to the Fit News report states USC spokesman Steve Fink has confirmed the hiring. 

Every last person deserves a second chance, and Morgan is a better person than I, welcoming back a fiancee whose indiscretion became national news. 

Here is to wishing them the best, and that the second go around is uneventful, unlike their time in Arkansas.
