PGA Championship 2012 Standings: Day 3 Highlights, Top Contenders and More
The biggest winner on the third day of the PGA Championship was the weather and unfortunately, play had to be suspended before round three of the tournament could conclude.
That means play will resume on Sunday with several players still looking to finish the interrupted round.

Highlights
Normally, Rory McIlroy would love to hit a hole-in-one, but not this kind. Here's a shot of McIlroy getting his ball stuck in a tree in what was an improbable shot at best.
Top Contenders
Rory McIlroy
Its been two years since McIlroy collapsed on the final day of the 2010 PGA Championship and in 2012, the 23-year-old is looking for redemption and a solid final round should accomplish that.
McIlroy finished the suspended day with a share of the lead after shooting four-under for the day, catapulting him to the top of the leaderboards.
But if McIlroy has proven anything in his career, it's that he isn't always certain to finish strong. However, with much of the third round left to play, McIlroy still has to get to the final round in a favorable position to have a shot at winning this tourney.
Vijay Singh
Singh hasn't been at the top of the golf world for quite some time now, but a strong finish to the 2012 PGA Championship would certainly revive his career.
Having won the same tournament twice (1998, 2004) and the Masters (2000), Singh is no stranger to winning big tournaments in his career, but it has been awhile since he's done just that.
Singh has remained steady and consistent throughout and another solid day shooting two-under par before the suspension of play proved it. With a share of the lead going into Sunday, the veteran golfer has the experience and steady hand necessary to overtake his younger opponent.
Adam Scott
Nobody could use a major victory more than this Australian.
After an all-out collapse at the Open Championship, Scott is looking to recover at the PGA Championship and he is certainly in position to do so.
Scott finished the suspended day just one stroke back of leaders Singh and McIlroy. Scott is surging and appears to be playing his best golf of the tourney at the right time after shooting four-under par during the suspended third day.
Tiger Woods is looking to get over the hump and win his first Major since off-the-course issues sent his career into a tailspin.
Woods started off strong, but the third day of the PGA Championship didn't prove to be his best by any stretch. His putting was off and his drives got lost in the high winds, making it a rough day for Woods.
His poor play was halted by the weather, however, and that couldn't have come at a better time. Woods will now have time to recover and still has a chance to win this tournament being five shots back.
Woods must improve his play if he wants to win. It seems he's played his worst golf on the final days of majors lately and it's beginning to look like more of the same for Tiger.
