PGA Championship Odds 2012: Last-Minute Lines on Tiger Woods and Top Golfers
The 2012 PGA Championship began just a short while ago, but places like Bovada.lv are still offering in-play gambling if you need to get your fix.
Let’s take a look at some of the top golfers in the field, how they are doing and the current line as of 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday morning.
Tiger Woods: 7-1
Through four holes, Tiger is even, but still the overwhelming favorite.
He’s had a birdie, two pars and a bogey to start, which doesn’t tell us much. However, a solid, consistent score in the first two rounds should put Woods in contention over the weekend.
When placing a to-win bet, being in contention is all you can ask for.
Rory McIlroy: 16-1
The young Northern Irishman seems much more poised and focused than he has been through the past three majors this year, but he has only participated in six holes thus far.
That being said, he is two-under par after birdies at 10 and 14.
He’s great value at 16-1 right now if you believe he will keep this pace up at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Resort.
Keegan Bradley: 33-1
Last year’s winner isn’t looking too shabby in the 2012 PGA Championship. He started out excellently, birdying 10 and knocking down an eagle at 11, but he bogeyed 13.
All in all, Bradley is minus-2 through four holes and tied for third, but it is still extremely early in the tournament.
At 33-1, Bradley is not a bad bet. He is vying to become the first repeat champ since Tiger in ’06 and ’07.
