US Olympic Gymnastics Team 2012: Television and Live Stream Info for All Events

Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics will begin on July 28 with men’s qualifications and July 29 for women’s qualifications and run throughout the duration of the London Games.

Fans of the U.S. national team will have plenty of events to watch on television and even more to live stream via computer or mobile device.

Male Gymnast to Watch: Danell Leyva

Leyva is the current world champion on parallel bars and has a great shot to bring home Olympic gold and glory to America.

The 22-year-old is arguably the best male gymnast that the U.S. has to offer this summer and should be a favorite to win at the high bar and an important member of the various team events.

If the USA is going to avoid embarrassment and a gold medal draught, which they suffered at the 2008 Beijing Games, they need Leyva to come through.

Female Gymnast to Watch: Jordyn Wieber

The 17-year-old star has won gold with Team USA at the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo in the team event and also all around.

It’s her first Olympic Games and the young woman from DeWitt, Mich. will be instrumental in the success (or failure) of her squad in London.

That is a lot of pressure, but if anyone can help restore the luster to Team USA, it’s Jo Wieber.
