WWE Money in the Bank 2012 Results: Power Ranking Best Matches of the Night
Now that's more like it.
After two mediocre pay-per-view events, the WWE saved face with an impressive Money in the Bank.
That's not to say there weren't things wrong with Sunday's anticipated PPV, because there were. Some of the bookings were a little questionable. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth being put on the pre-show—while the Prime Time Players stunk up the main show—was especially bad.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The time-fillers, like usual, were fairly boring.
But those were just small blemishes that didn't come close to overshadowing the three main matches, which were all amazing in their own way.
Here's a look at how I rank the best ones.
3. 5-Way Ladder Match for WWE Title Contract
The main event was once again outshined, but that's not to say it was disappointing.
I was skeptical coming in. How would Kane and Big Show work with the high-flyer style of ladder matches? Would Jericho and John Cena really be able to carry the match?
Those concerns may have been legit, as the two big boys didn't really provide much excitement off the rungs, but they made it work.
Kane didn't do much, but Big Show being buried under about 15 ladders was at least entertaining. Couple that with Jericho, Cena and the Miz, who was a surprise entry, and there was plenty of action to go around.
2. 8-Way Ladder Match for World Heavyweight Title Contract
This ladder match didn't have as many big names—or big bodies—as the other one, but it had much more excitement.
Dolph Ziggler may have won, but Tyson Kidd came very close to stealing the show as he continues to prove he is ready for the big time.
Throw in terrific action from guys like Christian, Santino and Cody Rhodes, and there was never a dull moment in this one.
Even when Tensai was forced into the spotlight, he provided plenty of solid moments.
All eight wrestlers pretty much rotated in and out the ring, got their time to shine and did something solid with the opportunity.
Everyone did what they were supposed to, and the action flowed very well. It was incredibly entertaining throughout.
1. CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan
Another PPV, another Punk vs. Bryan instant classic.
These two have proved time and time again over the last few months that whenever they go head to head, it's something you don't want to miss.
Throw in a no-disqualification stipulation and you have a ton of potential. There was some worry coming in about AJ getting in the way of this terrific rivalry, but she didn't have much effect on the match, and that can only be a good thing.
Punk and Bryan went back and forth for 27 good minutes. It finally ended with an epic fall through a table off the top ropes for both men.
Punk pinned Bryan for the win, but both men deserve credit for what was once again the best match of the night.
In fact, it will be in contention for the best match of the year.
