WWE Money in the Bank 2012: Could This Be Tyson Kidd's Chance to Break Out?
Tyson Kidd surprised a lot of people when he qualified for this year's SmackDown Money in the Bank match, but this could end up being the big chance he has been waiting for.
Kidd is known around the WWE as a very talented in-ring performer, but he has never had a successful singles run.
Whether it is his mic skills, size or character, there always seems to be some reason WWE has for holding him back.

He was a part of the very popular Hart Dynasty along with Harry Smith and Natalya, and for some strange reason, WWE decided to split them up. Both superstars suffered for the poor decision.
His shocking win over Tensai after Kidd had received a jobber's entrance was not only a smart move by WWE, but it shows that the company may have more plans for Kidd in the future.
WWE could have given him a win over anybody. Guys like Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Yoshi Tatsu and Derrick Bateman would probably have all gladly jobbed out to Kidd just to get some TV time.
WWE chose to give him a win over a guy who has beaten the top names in WWE since his return to the company, as well as a guy who is well over 300 pounds.
Tensai is also in the Money in the Bank match, and after the attack we witnessed on Kidd this week on Raw, it is safe to assume that the two are not done with each other yet.
Kidd has the support of some people with a lot of pull in WWE. Jim Ross recently had this to say about the last graduate of the Hart dungeon in his blog.
"Happy to see Tyson Kidd’s success on Smackdown Friday night. Tyson has seemingly found his personality, so to speak, to go along with his significant in ring skills. I love his in ring persona, which will/should only get bigger and better, and the skill set that the Calgary Kid brings to the table. A recent NXT bout vs. Michael McGillicutty gave me all that I needed to see on both young athletes who have wrestling DNA running in their veins."
If in-ring talent were the only thing governing a superstar's success, then we would see Kidd feuding with the likes of Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan all the time. But the fact is that there is a lot more to being a sports entertainer than there is to simply being a professional wrestler.
Kidd has the opportunity to prove that he is willing to put it all on the line when he steps into the ring this Sunday against seven other superstars to try to claim a World Title shot at some point in the future.
What do you think of Tyson Kidd's chances of winning this year's SmackDown Money in the Bank match?
