WWE Steers WrestleMania 25 the Right Way, or Did They?
Yesterday's edition of RAW was one that was much-anticipated.
Did it live up to the hype? Undertaker versus Orton, Flair's appearance...it was the last RAW until No Way Out. Chris Jericho cut a promo-and-a-half with Ric Flair, and I was blown away. You guys should be too, the man is clearly gifted.
He accused the fans of being hypocrites and then compared Flair to Mickey Rourke's character in The Wrestler. Jericho was relentless on the mic as he ate Flair for dinner—and desert. Flair stated that he retired and won't return to wrestling (thank goodness), so that leaves our WrestleMania 24 memories safe—for now.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Jericho wasn't done yet, he further compared Flair to Rourke's character telling him that he can't stay away from wrestling and he'll return to the ring. He then told Flair to do his woo tricks, calling him a dog. Flair finally had enough as he punched Jericho, who wisely retreated.
Ric was ready to fight, but let's hope he doesn't. WWE did a good gob there.
Cena, Rey and Kofi faced Knox, Kane, and Jericho later on in a six-man tag team match and team Knox won after Jericho pinned Kofi Kingston.
Beth Phoenix tagged with Jillian Hall to face Melina and Kelly Kelly. Beth and Jillian won of course following an interference from Glamarella's intern, Rosa Mendes. Next week we are treated to Beth versus Melina for the Women's Championship.
William Regal went against CM Punk for the Intercontinental Championship for the umpteen time. CM Punk picked up the victory as I didn't expect the popular mid-carder to drop the title to Regal—let alone hold it for a short while.
Shawn Michales was had a warm-up match against Mark Henry before he faces JBL—his boss—at No Way Out for his way out of the contract and a large lump of cash for his ailing family.
HBK wasn't too effective against the world's strongest man and Henry looked to dominate the showstopper. HBK couldn't sell this win to anyone, so he got DQ'ed and JBL came out and insulted HBK and told him that'll he'll be what Mickey Mouse was for Disney for his Layfield Energy products (When did JBL have his own products?).
JBL walked off and HBK had his usual puppy dog face. The feud was nice while it lasted, but I think its time HBK kicks JBL's teeth down his throat—for good. Hopefully we'll see that at No Way Out.
Priceless/Legacy faced and beat Cryme Tyme for the second consecutive week. Legacy continues their roll and Cryme Tyme qucikly racked up a three-match lossing streak. Can they earn a title shot? Where is Miz and Morrison?
Undertaker squared off against Randy Orton, finally. It's what we've been waiting for.
The match was worked well as Taker and Orton went back and forth. The two traded blows, but eventually Orton was headed for the Tombstone, and Legacy ran in to save their leader.
Shane McMahon ran in as Orton lined up for the RKO and attacked Orton.
Rhodes got a chokeslam from Taker, and Orton high-tailed out of the ring and up the ramp. Once there, he could only watch as Shane dragged DiBiease to the corner of the bottom turnbuckle and put a trash can in front of him. Shane went to the parallel top rope and unleashed his famous coast-to-coast dropkick.
DiBiease was destroyed, Orton was enraged, and the two men had a stare down before their No Way Out meeting.
RAW was good overall. Jericho and JBL cut great promos and Taker versus Orton was a treat even though it ended in a DQ. The road to WrestleMania still looks cloudy, but hopefully No Way Out can shed some sunlight.
What will happen? We'll just have to see.
