US Open Odds 2012: Which Top Golfer Is Leading the Vegas Odds?
The US Open 2012 tees off this week, with the best golfers in the world all fighting for the honor of winning Golf's Toughest Test.
Tiger Woods will be the focus of this year's event, as his miracle shot on No. 16 of the Memorial Open has fans and experts wondering if he's "back."
The U.S. Open is considered the key way of finding out whether or not he is back to being the world's No. 1 golfer, as he seeks the 15th major championship of his illustrious career.
Tiger hasn't won at a major since 2008, when he did so at the U.S. Open.
However, Tiger is not the only golfer in the field, as reigning champion Rory McIlroy and world's No. 1 Luke Donald are both challenging him as well.
With just a few short days remaining before the action begins, our best indication of who is the favorite is to check the odds in Vegas.

Rory McIlroy 12-1
Let's start things off with the reigning champ of the U.S. Open, Rory McIlroy, who comes into play with 12-1 odds, which are tied for second-best in the field.
McIlroy's title defense comes against a tough field, but the world's No. 2 golfer definitely has the tools to win it all once again.
Luke Donald 12-1
The world's No. 1 golfer finds himself tied with the reigning champ, McIlroy, for the second-best odds. Donald looks to prove why he is considered the best in the world, and keep extending his stretch of dominance.
Donald has struggled with Golf's Toughest Test before, with his best finish being a 12th-place finish in 2006. He has never finished in the Top 10 in the US Open, but he is trying to change that pattern this year.
Bubba Watson 30-1
After winning the Masters earlier this year, Bubba Watson looks to make 2012 his best year yet by winning the US Open as well.
Watson is currently ranked No. 5 in the world, but his odds put him in a four-way tie for tenth. It will be interesting to see if winning the Masters will help him get rolling in majors this year or if that will be the highlight of his 2012 season, and the U.S. Open will help determine that.
Phil Mickelson 15-1
After being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, Lefty looks to win his first ever U.S. Open. While he is no longer ranked in the Top 10 in the world, his 15-1 odds make him tied for fourth at the US Open.
Lefty may be past his prime, but he is still one of the most beloved golfers of today's game, and he looks to prove that he isn't done yet. He will also be celebrating his 42nd birthday when he plays on Saturday.
Tiger Woods 6-1
The talk of the golf world, Tiger Woods looks to regain his seat atop the sport with a victory at the U.S. Open to follow his win at the Memorial Open.
Tiger's incredible shot on 16 propelled his victory at the Memorial, and he looks to continue that momentum with the 15th major championship of his career.
With 6-1 odds, he is easily the favorite for the 2012 U.S. Open, and he has a firm lead on the Vegas odds.
