Brazil vs. Mexico: Hulk Will Lead Brazilians to Another Impressive Win

Brian MaziqueJun 7, 2018

Hulk will continue to smash his way through international friendlies' opponents today when Brazil takes on Mexico at Cowboys Stadium. He and the Brazilians have been on a roll, and they look primed and ready for Olympic competition.

The world football portion of the London games doesn't start until July 25, but Brazil is already hitting their stride. They have won consecutive international friendlies' matches over Denmark and the USA by a combined score of 7-2.

Mexico does represent a more formidable opponent, but the Brazilians are looking pretty special right now.

Hulk has been the catalyst for their great play. He should paint his skin green before every match, and pound the ground savagely. That's just how much of a beast he's been lately.

He has two goals to lead the balanced attack, but it's his pressure and powerful striking ability that carries the team's biggest threat.

The Brazilian star has been courted heavily by Chelsea this transfer season, but he seems to be focused on playing well for Brazil and preparing for the Olympics. He's quoted by ESPN:

"

Every day we hear news about that, but that's the responsibility of my agent. I only have to think about giving my best to be in the Olympic squad.

"

That is the right attitude, and his focus is showing in his play thus far. Here is one of Hulk's smashing goals versus Denmark:

Mexico has won two consecutive games as well. They downed Wales and Bosnia in their last two matches, but they were taxed much more in their victories. Their last win against Bosnia in particular required a stirring performance from Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

This match took place just four days ago, and it's possible the team could still be feeling the effects. In the end, Brazil is too strong and balanced for Mexico. They have won the last two meetings against Mexico, and I predict they make it three in a row today.
