Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles (East)
The Orioles have played some inspiring baseball so far this year, but they've lost five straight and we can't possibly expect them to hold off the firepower of Rays, Yankees or even the Red Sox all year long.
They hold the No. 4 pick in the draft and are more than likely going to use it on a high-upside player such as Carlos Correa, a shortstop from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy.
Or, if they honestly believe they can make a run, adding a college arm who'll get to the majors quickly is another option.
As for the Rays, they're going to do what they always do: draft a starter to develop in their system.
Chicago White Sox (Central)
The White Sox pick 13th in this draft and could do a number of things. A catcher is definitely on the list as they look to eventually replace A.J. Pierzynski, but they could also look for another bat.
Our own Adam Wells has them taking Clemson 3B Richie Shaffer in his latest mock.
Texas Rangers (West)
The Rangers have risen to the top of the league by being one of the best farm systems around. As of right now they don't have any major needs. Picking so late in the draft, down at No. 29, they'll likely target a pitcher they can develop for the future.
A first baseman may also be something they consider.
