Terrell Owens' Dallas Days Are Numbered: NFL Offseason Rumblings (Feb. 6)
Dan Reeves Thinks Cowboys Can Win without T.O.
"I don't think you ever talk to the Cowboys without Terrell Owens coming up," Reeves said. "I can say there are definitely some mixed feelings about T.O. Most everybody you talk to has a different opinion of him. They definitely have a decision to make as far as to what they will do about T.O., and I really don't know what that will be."
"From an outsider, I certainly have an opinion. I think the more distractions that you can eliminate and get the team focused on the team and not themselves, then you've got a better chance," he said.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Reeves hit the nail right on the head with this one. In multiple radio interviews, the former Falcons and Broncos head coach hinted that if the Cowboys want to win, they need to get rid of No. 81.
Can this guy keep a job? Not to be harsh, but no wonder this guy allegedly attempted suicide. He is a nut case! Owens, who is closing in on 35 years of age, needs to start thinking about his family and his life after football, instead of his prima donna act that has gotten him, well, absolutely nowhere.
It's time for Dallas, and Jerry Jones in particular, to make a statement by releasing this guy.
Boldin's Relationship with Cardinals "Can't Be Repaired"
Despite the efforts of Larry Fitzgerald and Kurt Warner to keep Boldin around next year, the veteran receiver does not feel that money is an issue anymore.
Per the Palm Beach Post, "It takes more than, ‘Well, we did you wrong and we’ll pay you this,'" Boldin said. "It’s not about the money. It was always about the principle. Guys being true to their word. I guess I was expected to uphold my end of the bargain, and it wasn’t reciprocated."
This is absolutely outrageous. Boldin just caught what, nine passes in the Super Bowl, with the Arizona Cardinals. What more could you ask for? How about the receiver that outplays you week after week and offers to take a pay cut to keep you around?
How about the captain of your team volunteers one more shot at the Lombardi Trophy if you decide to stick around? How about the coordinator that you were "miffed" at leaves for another team?
It's time to grow up for Boldin, and when all is said and done, he will be with the Cardinals next year, with a long term deal.
Earth, Wind, and Fire Splitting Up?
The New York Giants have a dilemma: Which two of the Earth, Wind, and Fire trio do they bring back for 2009?
Tom Rock of Newsday reports that the Giants are bringing RB Derrick Ward into the front office to discuss a contract. Ward is already 29 years old, but hasn't had as many carries as a back of that age and is a very valuable commodity to the Giants' offense.
The real issue is that if New York is able to retain Ward, they will unlikely be able to accommodate fellow RB Brandon Jacobs, who is ready for a payday. The only way I could see both backs returning next season is if WR Plaxico Burress and his contract are cut loose.
If he returns, it's likely that Jacobs will be the feature back again. There is no question that Derrick Ward wants to be "the man" wherever he goes, and a contract extension could also come with a guarantee that Jacobs is out.
I'll keep you all posted throughout the weekend with more news on the NFL offseason front.
