Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A: Coaches love veterans but if you put a gun to my head, I'm going with Locker. I can't see Hasselbeck staying healthy all year, and even if he wins the job out of camp, I expect the season to end in Locker's hands.
The Titans have some exciting weapons, and I can't wait to see Locker stretching the field with them. I have nothing against Hasselbeck, but I love exciting young quarterback play, so I personally lean toward Locker.

A: At this stage of the game, it's hard to land quality players. There might be another wave after training camp cuts, but no one left on the market is a game changer.
Special centers can be found in unlikely places. Jeff Saturday of Indianapolis (now Green Bay) was an undrafted free agent. Because of that, I tend to think safety is harder to come by. It's also a key defensive position.
The Titans are more likely to find an answer at center, but it will mean more if they land a safety.
Q:
A: I suppose this is another take on the Hasselbeck/Locker debate. I value experience more. We know that sack rate is closely tied to the quarterback. Some of the most mobile quarterbacks have had the worst sack rates. I think that's because athleticism can be a crutch for some guys. Instead of figuring out how to read and attack a defense, they rely on their legs to save them.
The problem is that no matter how fast the legs are, the mind is faster. I'll go with experience and ability to read defenses over escapability and mobility any day.
By the way, if you get both at the same time, you have Steve Young, and you win the Super Bowl and go to the Hall of Fame.

A: I don't know how much sense the report that Thomas is in trouble makes. His salary is basically guaranteed, and the Jags gain nothing by cutting him. He's no better than the third best wideout, but I can't accept that there are two more guys in camp better than he is.
I believe Thomas sticks as the third wideout. Even if he loses playing time, I think he makes the roster.
Q:
A: I've written about the tight end position before, but safety is a big question mark in my mind. Danieal Manning will be 30 this year, and I've noted before that it's tough for safeties to stay healthy after age 29. Glover Quinn struggled according to some eyes, but I know Texans fans were very happy with his play.
A solid backup plan is going to be necessary. Quintin Demps and Troy Nolan have experience, but behind them are three rookies. Secondary depth is a luxury for most teams, but in this case, it's more of a front-burner issue. Keep half an eye on rookie Desmond Marrow in camp to see if he might win a job as a backup.
Q:
A: While I really enjoyed Ruffalo's understated Banner, I thought Norton was the man. I'm a big Norton guy anyway, but I really enjoyed the first hour-and-a-half of that movie, right up until the giant monster fight. Norton and Downey would have had some cool chemistry.
I might just be biased because I hated You Can Count on Me and loved American History X, though. Can we digitally insert Hulk into either of those movies? I'd pay to see that.
