WWE Rumors: Over the Limit Results, John Cena and Monday's Top WWE News
If you are looking for a prime example of all the problems that WWE has had in recent years, the main event of Over The Limit is the perfect place to start.
Everyone was expecting John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis to be a comedy match with some kind of interference. Sure enough, Cena beat on Laurinaitis for a long time until Big Show came out to cost Cena the match.
The problem was not necessarily the match itself, but the fact that this particular match was closing a pay-per-view. When angles and matches are treated like a joke, no one cares about the end result.

If you want comedy and things that are supposed to be taken with a grain of salt, that's fine. But, in the main event of a show, it is hard to tell people that they should be behind anything.
We will break down the Over The Limit action and all the news behind the scenes that you need to know for tonight's Raw.
WWE GOES WITH THE OBVIOUS FINISH AT OVER THE LIMIT
At the very least, WWE deserves credit for doing the right thing based on the story it told last Monday. Big Show wound up making his "return" after six days away from action by knocking John Cena out cold, thereby allowing John Laurinaitis to get the victory.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is a Big Show-John Cena feud going to work?
Our Take: In the scheme of things, you really have to look at what else is out there right now. Big Show is as good as anyone on the roster to go up against Cena. It's not going to do any business, but at least the two have something to do.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Played Out Feuds
Why doesn't Cena have the championship? WWE still makes him the focal point of every show. He was in the main event again, so if you want to make the title—which should always be the most important thing—feel like a big deal, give it on the main event star.

SIN CARA MAKES HIS TRIUMPHANT RETURN
While Christian's return may have been one of the stories at Over The Limit, Sin Cara, who has been out since blowing out his patella at the Survivor Series, also made it back to the ring this weekend. He was in a house show match against Hunico.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What is Sin Cara's role in WWE going to be?
Our Take: Considering the well-known issues people backstage have had with him, I find it hard to believe he is going to be pushed as anything serious. He will be relevant because his merchandise sells well with kids, but don't expect much more than that.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Springboard Ring Entrances
One thing that Sin Cara did well was captivate the audience with his aerial attack. As long as he is able to do that and not botch a lot of moves in between, he should get along fine with the crowd. The people backstage? Well, that's another story.

CHYNA'S DOWNWARD SPIRAL KEEPS GETTING WORSE
Former WWE diva/wrestler Chyna had a terrible weekend that resulted in her being taken out of an adult entertainment expo on Sunday when she passed out in the lobby of a hotel in Miami. It was reportedly the third straight day she had passed out somewhere.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Chyna ever get the help she obviously needs?
Our Take: All anyone can do at this point is hope that a switch goes off sooner rather than later, but don't expect anything to happen soon. It's very much like the situation that has gone on with Scott Hall over the years.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Tragic Falls
Chyna has a lot of personal demons that she is running away from by doing the things she is doing. What more can you say about her at this point? It's really sad, but at some point you just end up shaking your head because it isn't a surprise.

BACKSTAGE REACTION REPORTEDLY NEGATIVE TO THREE-HOUR RAW
WWE made the announcement it was going to permanently make Raw three hours long this summer. Fans might like the idea of more wrestling, but people backstage are reportedly not too high on the move for a number of reasons. Chiefly among them is a fear that wrestlers and fans will get burnt out with three hours on one night.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will fans actually get burnt out of WWE?
Our Take: I don't pretend to live in the mind's of hardcore wrestling fans, but WWE is playing a dangerous game that it is probably not capable of handling right now. If creativity were stronger and the roster deeper, there would be a chance this could work.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Honest Wrestlers
WWE made a hasty decision based on the extra income it will get from the USA Network to put on the show. It clearly didn't think this thing through-—it is basically an angle that Vince McMahon starts on Raw. He might start it with an interesting premise, but he doesn't have the time, patience or wherewithall to see it through to the end.
