Andrew Luck: Who Colts Need to Draft to Give Stanford Star Best Chance to Win
Andrew Luck could be in for a tough rookie season with the Indianapolis Colts.
The franchise could make things easier on the former Stanford stud by making smart selections in the draft in the second round and beyond.
Here are the players that would give Luck the best chance to win in 2012.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Round 2: Coby Fleener, Tight End, Stanford
If you look at mock drafts from around the country, there is a slight chance that Fleener might be off the board when the Colts are on the clock at the top of the second round.
I don't think NFL teams are quite as enamored with Fleener as most fans are, though, and I do expect him to still be there for the taking.
Fleener was one of Luck's favorite targets while they played together at Stanford, and his size and speed are excellent for a wide receiver—let alone a tight end.
The Colts would be smart to draft Luck's security blanket. Not only will this selection help Luck's transition, but it's also addressing a position of need. The three tight ends currently on the Colts roster have caught a combined total of 15 career passes in the NFL.
Round 3: Senio Kelemete, Offensive Guard, Washington
The Colts currently have two offensive guards on their roster, and between the two, they have only started one game in the NFL.
Kelemete is a former defensive lineman who converted over to offense. He is a natural athlete who has spent time as a guard and a tackle for the Huskies.
Kelemete is phenomenal in the running game. His agility and athleticism allow him to pull with ease, and he has the mindset of a defender at the point of contact.
Having played a bit at the tackle position, Kelemete is also an adept pass-blocker who moves his feet well and who will get better as he further develops his technique and learns to keep his pads lower.
He will give the Colts and Luck a boost in all aspects of the offense and should be a starter from day one.
Round 6 (Compensatory Pick): Marquis Maze, Wide Receiver, Alabama
The Colts actually have some weapons for Luck to work with on the perimeter of the offense. He's got to be thrilled that Reggie Wayne decided to come back, and Austin Collie and Donnie Avery are both capable of making plays.
That being said, the Colts should draft Maze at the back end of the sixth round to give Luck another playmaker.
Maze is a bit undersized, at 5'8" and 186 pounds, but he is quick in and out of his breaks and will be effective as a slot receiver running underneath coverage.
He can also stretch the field on deep crossing routes and snatches the ball out of the air with his hands, making him a candidate for becoming one of this year's hidden gems.
