Links to the Best in NFC North Coverage, April 19th Edition
Several vital announcements this morning. First, I have achieved the greatest thing a writer for a division can do—I have now angered fans from every team in the NFC North.
Thanks, guys! I know I must be doing something right or equally wrong.
Second, a reminder I will be live at Radio City Music Hall next week for the draft as a fully credentialed media member.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So make sure you stay tuned here, on B/R video (where the great Matt Miller will be live from RCMH, as well) and follow me on Twitter.
With that, let's get at it for today's linksy goodness.
The Chicago Tribune reports that South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram visited the Bears Wednesday. The Bears have also worked out Illinois' Whitney Mercilus.
All the obvious interest in defensive ends probably means their first pick will be a kicker.
The Bears are also interested in improving things before the draft and have brought in several free-agent linebackers according to Jeff Dickerson and Michael Wright of ESPNChicago.
Packers GM Ted Thompson will be holding a press conference today at 12:30 p.m. CT, and if you'd like a peek into what that's like, it'll be streamed on the team's Web site.
CheeseheadTV's Brian Carriveau has a good interview with draft analyst and Arena Football League personnel director Chris Steuber. If you haven't ever been to Steuber's site you are in for a unique treat. The info is great AND it's unlike anything you've seen graphically unless you really like comic books.
Finally, Jason Wilde has some sad news for fans of the Acme Packers—the jerseys will not make an appearance this season.
Remember when I said the rhetoric would ratchet up for a move? Well, it came from a surprising source: the NFL itself.
I didn't see that one coming, I'll be honest. Not everyone is pleased with the strong-arming either, according to the Pioneer Press. Shockingly, some politicians don't like being told what to do.
This may not end well for anyone.
Dave Birkett writes that Chris Polk may be in the running (see what I did there?) for a spot in the Lions' backfield. You have to read the story, if just for the tale of Polk laying out his mom in a running back drill.
That's parenting extra credit by Ms. Polk.
Birkett also highlights some other running backs, most of which likely did not lay their mom out in drills in the front yard.
Tim Twentyman reports that the Lions brought in five players for visits on Wednesday including DE Vinny Curry and RB Lamar Miller.
