Michael Vick Calling out Alabama Cockfighting Law Is Pointless Charade
Michael Vick will never truly live down his dogfighting conviction, but he has served his time and paid for his crimes.
He's been back in the public spotlight as the starting quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles since 2010, and we've heard his apologies and seen his commitment to helping the cause against animal cruelty.
There are those who believe Vick will never be sorry enough and can never do enough, and those who believe he's said and done all needs to say and do.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vick will continue to make his presence felt in the fight against animal cruelty, but there needs be more than just actions if he wants to make it worth it.
If he wants to say nothing else more, that is fine, but if he is going to make a statement the way he did Monday, then there needs to be more.
Vick reportedly said that Alabama's cockfighting law is the "weakest" in the country, according to an AP report on the Huffington Post. With a maximum fine of $50, there are not many who'd argue with the star quarterback.
The report says Sen. Cam Ward introduced a bill that was passed by the "Senate Judiciary Committee early in the session, but the Senate Rules Committee refused to bring up the bill for a vote."
Vick's words have obviously drawn attention back to it, but if he truly wants this passed, he needs to step up and make something more of it.
Talking for the sake of talking is a pointless charade that actually portrays Vick in a more negative light.
