Masters 2012: Remaining Players with Best Shot to Win Green Jacket on Sunday
The 2012 Masters are just 36 holes away from completion and a number of sub-par golfers have been removed from the event after the cut.
There are a couple of clear favorites that have been established, so let’s take a look at who is still remaining with a good chance to be wearing a green jacket on Sunday night at Augusta National.
Woods is always dangerous even if he isn’t ahead of the pack. He’s capable of making late breaks and destroying the competition, even if he’s down going into the last day of the tournament.
Keep an eye on Tiger as he looks to get into a groove and start destroying the competition at one of his favorite courses during one of his traditional best tournaments.
Rory McIlroy
McIlroy is the sport's best young and upcoming player and he’s certainly lived up to that hype since bursting onto the scene at last year’s Masters.
Unfortunately, he suffered an epic collapse in that event, but he’s back and better than ever this year.
Look for him to make his move and hold his lead if he can establish one going into the final round.
Sergio Garcia
The Spaniard has fallen off the radar as he has not won in his last 51 appearances. He’s back and better than ever in this tournament and is looking to make a splash by winning the first major of his career.
Keep a look out for this 32-year-old as he finishes up these last 36 holes, he’s dangerous.
