WrestleMania 28: Brodus Clay and Superstars We Wish Were in 12-Man Tag Match
The card is 100 percent set with WrestleMania XXVIII nearly upon us, but that doesn't mean we can't speculate on what could have been. The 12-man tag team match between John Laurinaitis' team and Teddy Long's team is in order, however, I can't help but think there were better choices to be made.
Although the match should still be fun and entertaining, I feel like there are a few superstars out there who would have made things a bit more interesting. It's obviously too late now for any changes to be made, but it's always interesting to speculate on what could have been.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here are three competitors who would have been great fits in the Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy match.
Brodus Clay
I have yet to encounter someone who isn't at least entertained by the Funkasaurus. Brodus Clay burst back onto the scene as a funk-dancing big man, and while he has only squashed jobbers to this point, it seems like the right time to do something meaningful with him.
Clay seems to be the total package as he has a fun gimmick complete with a great entrance and attire, he has a lot of skill in the ring for a man of his immense size and he can perform on the mic when given the opportunity.
Having him stand out on wrestling's grandest stage for Team Long would have been a logical move since it would have given him exposure to a massive audience. It's not as if it would have taken a lot of work to get him on the team either, as he could have replaced the useless Great Khali.
The only reason I can think of as to why Clay isn't included is that Team Teddy is going to lose and creative isn't ready for Brodus to lose yet. I can understand that to a point, but as long as he wasn't the one getting pinned, it wouldn't matter.
After teasing it on Twitter, there were many hoping that Mick Foley would be named the final member of Team Long. Those dreams evaporated, however, as Long chose Booker T as his last representative after the commentator saved him from the clutches of Mark Henry.
Booker T is absolutely a good choice as the fans still love him, but including Foley would have given the creative team so many options because he is incredibly versatile in what he can do.
It's quite clear that Booker is the better in-ring worker at this juncture, but that doesn't stop Foley from whipping the fans into a frenzy. They could have easily went with both Foley and Booker and left Great Khali out of it.
Not only would it have been very nostalgic for the fans, but we could have seen another Socko and Cobra moment between Foley and Santino like we did at the Royal Rumble. The crowd would have eaten it up.
Lord Tensai
It appears the WWE is taking the slow build route with regards to Lord Tensai's debut, and while that isn't a bad thing, he could have really benefited from being on Team Johnny at WrestleMania.
My initial theory was that Lord Tensai should be a surprise member of the team who isn't announced until the match starts. That would have left The Miz without a spot on the card, so he could have begged his way onto Team Teddy.
Ultimately, The Miz would have screwed over Long and helped Laurinaitis' team win. A 12-man match would have been a smart setting for Tensai's debut because he could have looked dominant without having to take the fall if Team Johnny were to somehow lose.
The Undertaker debuted at Survivor Series in 1990 unannounced and it ended up working wonders for him. I'm not saying Lord Tensai compares, but maybe lightning could have struck twice.
