WrestleMania 28: The Undertaker vs. Triple H and Best Rematches in Mania History
Sometimes a match goes over so well at WrestleMania that it leaves fans wanting more. It certainly takes a special bout and two exceptional performers to pull off such a feat, but there have been a handful of rematches over the course of WrestleMania history.
The Undertaker and Triple H will become just the second pair of competitors to go at it three times when they face off at WrestleMania 28, but their rematch came last year. It was an absolute classic, but it has plenty of competition to be named the best rematch in WrestleMania history.
Here are the three best WrestleMania rematches of all time.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H
I'd be remiss if I didn't start with The Undertaker vs. Triple H, as they will take part in one of the headline matches once again this year. These two legends first wrestled in a match at WrestleMania X-Seven and while it hasn't been mentioned much since, it was certainly a solid bout.
Taker and Hunter truly made magic last year at WrestleMania XXVII, though, as they battled in what was undoubtedly the match of the night. Granted, the card was week overall, but that particular bout stole the show.
It was quite unlike any of The Undertaker's previous matches at WrestleMania as he had always been portrayed as the heavy favorite. Triple H was in control of the match, however, as he threw everything he had at Undertaker, including the Deadman's signature Tombstone Piledriver. Regardless of all that, just when Triple H was about to strike with a sledgehammer, The Undertaker locked in Hell's Gate and escaped with a victory.
It was a great battle and it set the stage for a third match this year.
The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
When The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels locked horns at WrestleMania XXV, many considered it to be one of the greatest matches they had ever seen. With that in mind, it seemed impossible that it could ever be topped, but they may have done exactly that the very next year.
Most are torn with regards to whether their encounter at WrestleMania XXVI was better than their WrestleMania XXV bout, but my personal opinion is that the rematch was slightly better, although to say that I'm splitting hairs is putting it mildly.
That match just had so much going for it, as it featured The Undertaker and his iconic streak against the man who has been dubbed Mr. WrestleMania. Each man used their signature moves at will, but neither was able to put the other away.
The match ended in a genius manner, as The Undertaker was beginning to show compassion, but Michaels slapped him across the face, causing Taker to explode with rage and end the Heartbreak Kid's career. He didn't go out with a win, but you could still say that he went out on top.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Rock
The Attitude Era was highlighted by several fantastic performers, but if pressed to name the two most influential wrestlers of that time, the first names that come to mind are undoubtedly "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock. In terms of their ability on the mic, overall presence and fan reaction, Austin and The Rock were the biggest stars of their time.
It's only fitting that they went at it on wrestling's biggest stage three times, but the most famous of them had to be their initial rematch at WrestleMania X-Seven.
Both men were at the peak of their popularity, and each of them entered the match as a face. Because of that, the crowd reaction was fairly split. The match itself was no-disqualification, so there was plenty of excitement as they were both busted open from ring bell shots.
What happened at the end of the match was one of the most shocking moments in WrestleMania history, though, as Austin accepted help from longtime enemy Vince McMahon as he defeated The Rock and turned heel in the process.
