Buffalo Bills Need To Stick with the Plan
The Buffalo Bills may be enticed by the fact that a proven quarterback from the New England Patriots is going to be on the trade market soon either which way. However, the Bills need to stick with its current plan.
The thing is that a proven quarterback is not going to get the Bills back to the playoffs. The reason being that there are simply too many holes on the team.
The Bills first and foremost need another weapon to compliment wide receiver Lee Evans. Unless they go out and get wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, they are best served by sticking with current wide receivers James Hardy and Steve Johnson, then see if either one is ready to take the starting job away from wide receiver Josh Reed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The other option is to go into the draft and for once go and spend a first-round draft pick on the best tight end available at the No. 11 pick in the first round of the draft.
The last time the Bills spent a first round pick was in 1983 when the Bills took Tony Hunter from Notre Dame; the next one after that was Lonnie Johnson in the second round of the 1994 draft, and the last one the Bills used in the first three rounds was in 2005 when the Bills took Kevin Everett.
The Bills', last year in the fourth round, did take tight end Derek Fine. Fine missed the first six games of the year, and saw limited time in the ten games he appeared in. He finished the year with 10 catches for nine yards, and one touchdown.
If the Bills cannot get one of the best tight end in the draft they need to grab the best defensive end, or defensive tackle.
Simply, the Bills have too many holes on their team to take a chance on a young veteran player, especially when you have a quarterback in Trent Edwards who showed glimpses of brilliance this year.
