WWE WrestleMania 28: Huge Update on Potential Main Event for WrestleMania 29
The dream match between The Rock and John Cena that will headline WrestleMania 28 in just five days has opened an interesting debate about which dream matches may happen next year at WrestleMania 29.
We’ve heard all sorts of rumored scenarios or suggestions, such as The Rock taking on The Miz, CM Punk taking on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and so on and so forth. Given how much hype and buzz this Rock/Cena match has created over the last year, I don’t doubt that we may see yet another dream match next year.
All the pieces do have to fall into place, however, and some major WWE names from the past will have to be willing to step into the ring for the first time in quite a while.

Hmm, looks like that could be happening because we now have a huge update on a former WWE superstar potentially competing at WrestleMania 29.
"F4Wonline.com reports that Brock Lesnar is at least interested in a match against The Undertaker or Steve Austin for WrestleMania 29.
"
Well, that’s certainly not a guarantee, but at least it’s somewhat of a start toward yet another potential dream matchup.
Brock Lesnar and Austin are essentially the two biggest names that aren’t currently directly affiliated with the WWE who could generate some incredible interest in a major feud that leads to a match at WrestleMania 29. Lesnar obviously proved to be a huge draw while in UFC, and Austin is arguably the WWE’s biggest star ever.
I’d love to see both of those guys compete at a future WrestleMania, but not against each other.
While I get that Lesnar/Austin would have a ton of hype surrounding it, I don’t like the idea of bringing in two wrestlers who aren’t full-timers anymore and then placing them in a match against each other. The main purpose, at least in my view, behind putting someone like The Rock, Lesnar or Austin on the Mania card is to have them put a current WWE star over.
That’s why, if I had the choice, I’d prefer to see Austin vs. Punk and Lesnar vs. The Undertaker in what would obviously be two monumental matches that people have wanted to see for about a year now.
And if those bouts somehow happen, WrestleMania 29 will be even bigger than WrestleMania 28.
Note: As part of the new WWE blog, I'll be asking all of the B/R wrestling readers for questions for a new mailbag that I will post on Fridays. It will be a slideshow featuring 10-20 questions and answers on a wide range of topics. You can submit questions either through Formspring or Twitter, and the best ones will be answered in the B/R mailbag.
