WrestleMania 28 Predictions: Dolph Ziggler Will Steal Show in 12-Man Tag Match
WrestleMania provides the perfect opportunity to give Dolph Ziggler a push he's deserved for at least six months. He has all the tools to become the next big star, and he'll illustrate that in the 12-man tag team match on Sunday.
No WWE superstar has been utilized more poorly over the past few months than Ziggler. He appeared destined for a massive push after dropping the United States title en route to the main event scene, but instead, he's been wasted.
Ziggler doesn't get enough credit for his in-ring work. Most fans point to CM Punk or Daniel Bryan—the current champions in their respective brands—along with Chris Jericho as elite workers, but Ziggler deserves a spot in the conversation.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
He's improved markedly since his days in Florida Championship Wrestling, the company's developmental territory. His best attribute is selling moves. Nobody else can contort their bodies into such weird positions, which helps moves seem more realistic.
His progression needs to be rewarded with more interesting storyline development and opportunities to show off his promo skills, which are on display each week on Zack Ryder's YouTube show.
The gap between Ziggler's work on Z! True Long Island Story and his rare Raw mic sessions, which sound overly scripted by the creative team, is remarkable. They need to give him more free reign like they did with CM Punk, allowing him to take the wrestling world by storm.
Since the tag team match lacks real star power, the WWE has a golden opportunity to get Ziggler's character back on track. Outside of fan favorites like Santino Marella and Ryder, there are a bunch of superstars with no general direction thrown in there to keep them relevant.
If the company isn't willing to put Ziggler over a bunch of middling superstars, you have to wonder if he'll ever get his chance to shine.
Ziggler should score the pin over Marella or Ryder, which will generate a lot of heat from the fans and would allow for a storyline about John Laurinaitis being grateful to him. Thus, he would receive more chances on weekly television to—like Ziggler loves to say—show off.
It's frustrating when a superstar with so much talent is constantly treated like a jobber. It happened with Bryan for the longest time before finally getting his chance, and he's done a nice job of running with the opportunity.
The Rock, Triple H and Undertaker aren't going be around forever to fill the card, so at WrestleMania, the WWE should start giving Ziggler the spotlight push he has earned.
