WrestleMania 28: Are CM Punk and Chris Jericho Lost in the Shuffle?
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho is a high profile match which, in an ideal world, would and should be the main event on any wrestling card, including WrestleMania 28.
Unfortunately this match will not be afforded the luxury of being the main event, especially when you have Rock vs. Cena and Triple H vs. The Undertaker on the same card. How's that for justice?
CM Punk and Chris Jericho are two workhorses who will have a five-star match at WrestleMania 28; as competitive as they both are they have no choice but to tear the roof down.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Both are considered two of the best in the business and deservedly so. However, I can't help but feel that this match will get lost in the shuffle that is WrestleMania.
Despite being two of the best wrestlers in the business right now, neither man has the main event power of a John Cena, The Rock or Triple H, at least in Vince McMahon's eyes. Since this match is for the title, it should automatically be the main event and go on last, but we know that won't happen.
This match will get credit for being great, perhaps better than the others, but in the grand scheme of things that make up the WWE Universe, this isn't the moneymaker match.
This isn't Hogan vs. Andre, this is more Savage vs. Steamboat, a match that will always be recognised as being better than Hogan vs, Andre.
Savage vs. Steamboat is recognised as a true classic for wrestling purists and certainly influenced a generation of fans to become performers themselves. Yet, Hogan vs. Andre still holds the distinction of being the bigger match because of its magnitude.
Yes, Rock vs. Cena and Triple H vs. Undertaker are the bigger matches in terms of hype, no doubt, but something seems terribly wrong when you have two great performers taking a back seat, especially when their match is for the WWE championship.
Although there has been a build toward their match for the last couple of months, it hasn't enjoyed the build that Rock and Cena have either. Even with Jericho taking personal shots at CM Punk's father, this match will still be overlooked.
This is typical WWE at its best, pushing style over substance, but that's part of the allure, isn't it? It works, so why fix it?
Well, come April 1, I will be watching Punk vs. Jericho with the same level of interest that I will the other matches, because right now it's just too close to call. Besides, if nothing else, these two will do what they do best and steal the show. Anything less would be uncivilized.
