The Frenchman arrived at the Emirates in the summer of 2010 and has since struggled to establish himself as a reliable centre-back.
Poor displays have seen the former Sevilla star, 31, drop further down the pecking order this season. He has made just six appearances so far this term, without a single goal to his name.
With his current contract running in June 2013, Arsenal should consider giving him an early exit this summer.
Marouane Chamakh
The Morocco international joined on a free transfer from French club Bordeaux in 2010, putting pen to paper on a four-year contract.
He made a bright goal-scoring start to his Arsenal career, scoring regularly in his first four months at the club. Chamakh, however, suffered a dip in form for the remainder of the season, seeing him fall out of favour with Arsene Wenger.
He has so far made just 60 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 12 times. This season, the striker has played 16 times, finding the back of the net on only one occasion.
A summer sale of the misfiring star would be good business for the north London club, considering his arrival did not cost Arsenal a single penny.
Lucasz Fabianski
Despite having been at Arsenal for five years, the Pole has so far failed to establish himself as a reliable first choice shot-stopper.
The error-prone goalkeeper is currently the understudy to first-choice Wojciech Szczesny.
With up-and-coming goalkeepers Vito Mannone and James Shea breathing down Fabianski's neck, Arsenal should sell the 26-year-old to give the young prospects a chance to flourish.
Andrei Arshavin
The Russian was signed by Arsenal in January 2009. He went on to enjoy a bright start to his Arsenal tenure, becoming a key member of Arsene Wenger's team.
The highlight of his Arsenal career came just three months after making his debut, when he scored four goals in a 4-4 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Arshavin, however, gradually lost his form and would later become a bit-part player.
On February 24th 2012, he rejoined Zenit St Petersburg on a loan deal, following a run of just one goal in 19 appearances for the Gunners.
With the Russian turning 31 in June, Arsene Wenger should be thinking of making Arshavin's Zenit loan deal permanent.
Abou Diaby
The Frenchman signed for Arsenal in January 2006 from Ligue 1 club Auxerre as a 20-year-old. Despite his young age, Diaby impressed most Arsenal fans with his size, pace and power.
Frequent injuries have, however, hindered his development. He has only made three appearances so far this season, all as a substitute.
Overall, the midfielder has played 159 times for Arsenal, scoring 19 times.
Selling Diaby would be wise on Arsenal's part as the France international is rarely fit and available to play. Acquiring an injury-free replacement should be the Londoners' agenda.
