WrestleMania 28: 5 Reasons The Undertaker Will Remain Unbeaten
With The Undertaker clearly in the twilight of his career, each year it seems to get more and more possible that his WrestleMania unbeaten streak could come to an end.
With a Hell in a Cell match against Triple H with Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee this year, a loss seems plausible.
Even with all of those factors in play, and even with Triple H coming within inches of beating the Deadman last year, Taker's streak simply won't end. It's hard to say if WrestleMania XXVIII is going to be Taker's last, but if he is going out, then he's going to go out on top.

Here are five reasons why The Undertaker will continue his unbeaten streak against Triple H on April 1.
Mystique of The Streak
In a predetermined sport like professional wrestling, there aren't many records that are impressive to the casual observer. When you consider the fact that the WWE has had enough confidence in The Undertaker to allow him to win 19 times without a loss at its premier event, though, that is the type of statistic that raises some eyebrows.
Say what you will about the company stumbling into the notion of The Streak or that some of Taker's opponents haven't been of high quality, but The Streak is something that transcends titles and everything else.
The Undertaker's yearly match at WrestleMania has become the most anticipated part of the event. If Taker ends his career undefeated at WrestleMania, then it is something that will forever be talked about.
If he loses, though, it will become a footnote in history.
Possibility of Taker Return
The popular opinion at this point seems to be that WrestleMania XXVIII will be The Undertaker's last match.
There is no way of knowing that for sure, but it seems perfectly feasible. The match has continually been called the end of an era, so it wouldn't be surprising to see both Taker and Triple H hang the boots up after it's all said and done.
Even though The Undertaker is no longer a regular wrestler, though, I get the feeling that Vince McMahon wants to keep his options open.
If Taker loses, then there is no reason for him to ever wrestle again. If he wins, though, it keeps The Streak intact and gives McMahon the option of bring Taker in for another Mania match at any time if he feels the card needs a shot in the arm.
Won't Put Triple H Over Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker put on two of the greatest WrestleMania matches of all time at WrestleMania XXV and WrestleMania XXVI. Although Michaels came out on the losing end each time, he proved why he is known as Mr. WrestleMania. Since not even Mr. WrestleMania himself could overcome the Deadman, nobody else should.
That even goes for HBK's best friend Triple H.
Hunter was booked to come close to beating The Undertaker last year, but that should be the extent of his success. If Triple H beats The Undertaker, it will overshadow Michaels' accomplishments in many ways.
Michaels may support it, since Triple H is his best friend, but I highly doubt Hunter would be willing to do that.
Merchandising
Almost every decision Vince McMahon makes comes down to money, and this one will likely be no different. The Streak has been extremely marketable for about a decade, and if The Undertaker pushes it to 20-0, then that will take it to a completely different level.
There is no real reason for it, but a nice, round number like 20 would look awfully good on T-shirts and other merchandise.
There isn't an Undertaker fan on this planet who wouldn't want to get their hands on some 20-0 memorabilia if the Deadman took out Triple H once again. While I suppose there would be some marketability with Triple H being the one who ended the streak, it's tough to see McMahon ending something that has been so profitable.
Respect for Undertaker's Service
Since joining the WWE in 1990, The Undertaker has been a WWE guy through and through. There's no telling how many times he may have been approached by WCW during its heyday, but he has always remained loyal to the WWE and its fans.
With nearly 23 years of service within the company, there is no better person to remain undefeated at WrestleMania than The Undertaker.
Taker ultimately has a lot of say in what happens with regards to his match at WrestleMania, but I have to believe that McMahon and the creative team will insist on The Streak continuing.
The Undertaker and WWE will always be synonymous with each other, and as long as he remains undefeated, The Undertaker and WrestleMania will be one and the same as well.
