Matt Flynn Rumors: The Latest Speculation Around Free Agent QB
Maybe the biggest obstacle in Matt Flynn's way is Peyton Manning.
Although the Green Bay Packers free agent quarterback isn't in the same league as the four-time MVP of the league, where Manning lands will highly impact where Flynn will call home next season.
There are certain things we know and things we are expected to find out in the next few days regarding Manning, which will impact Flynn.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In the last few days, the former LSU product and backup to Aaron Rodgers has visited Seattle, this according to the Seattle Times; and Cleveland has stated in a story by Mark Sesser of NFL.com, that they are not interested in the quarterback, stating he would want "Kevin Kolb money."
Browns general manager Tom Heckert has maintained that Cleveland will not send shock waves through the league in free agency. It also appears the Browns are content with Colt McCoy starting the season behind center for the Browns.
Seattle, Miami and Arizona all may be in the market for a quarterback in Free Agency or in the NFL draft. Peyton Manning met with both Arizona and Miami, incidentally, and has taken Arizona off his list of potential stops. Miami still has an outside shot at landing him, but after meeting with John Elway in Denver and then a lengthy eight-hour meeting in Nashville, it would appear the Titans may be the front runners.
There is no timetable set yet as to when Manning will make a decision.
Now, after Manning makes a decision, that should put other teams in play for Flynn, who looked all-world in the final game of the season, throwing for 480 yards in the team's final game of the season against Detroit, where he and Matthews Stafford combined for 1,000 passing yards and 11 touchdowns.
At that very moment, Flynn's stock in free agency soared like a rocket.
Seattle has two quarterbacks on its roster: Tarvaris Jackson — who is signed for one more season — and Josh Portis, an undrafted rookie last year who spent the season as Seattle's No. 3 quarterback.
The Dolphins are a curious sort. They hired Green Bay's offensive coordinator, Joe Philbin in the off-season to be their new head coach, and finished the season with opening day starter, Chad Henne seeking free agency.
Henne signed a two-year contract with the Jaguars on Wednesday. It was believed because of the familiarity with the offense Philbin would implement in south Florida and the fact Flynn was free for the taking, it was a perfect fit.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported on-line that if the Dolphins do not get Manning, they will turn their attention to Flynn.
The club has determined Flynn would be the next best answer to their quarterback problem, Salguero explained in the article.
