NFL Free Agency 2012: Teams That Must Make Drastic Changes Immediately
With free agency just days away, teams are slashing cap space left and right in a variety of ways.
Some include restructuring of deals, but some also include player cuts that truly shake up the foundation of teams.
For instance, we knew Peyton Manning was going to be cut, but the Colts completely cleaned house with the ousting of Gary Brackett, Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai too.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There are also several teams—like the Bucs, Jaguars, Broncos and Chiefs—with some serious spending cash.
Teams can be reborn in a mere few days of drastic change in free agency, and here are a few that need it desperately.
Tampa Bay Bucs
The Bucs have a new head coach and are about to get a number of new players. They have over $40 million in cap room and have needs at every level on both sides of the ball.
Coach Greg Schiano is a defensive guy, but likes to have an offensive system he can trust. As of right now, he doesn't have a running or a receiver that he can truly trust. In fact, he's still not even sure he can trust his quarterback.
But Josh Freeman is going to get a chance to succeed and they're going to put as many weapons around him as possible.
Defensively, Schiano is going to go out of his way to find a way to get after the passer—and they need it.
That includes boosting the secondary and the pass rush.
Schiano's a rookie NFL head coach and is going to need to find players that buy into his system, so expect quantity over immediate quality to start.
Indianapolis Colts
This team has already started their rebuilding, as stated above, but they're going to have to go after new players at nearly every position in free agency and the draft.
They'll need receivers and help on the offensive line. They need to help themselves on every level of the defense, especially stopping the run. Like Schiano's situation, they need to find players that buy into Chuck Pagano's system.
Andrew Luck will come in and stabilize the huddle, but he's going to take time to adjust to life in the NFL.
The Colts know their transformation won't happen overnight, but they have to make something happen now if they're going to get off on the right foot with a rookie quarterback.
Jacksonville Jaguars
This team has a quarterback, but they don't know what they have in him—mostly because he didn't have any weapons to throw his rookie season.
Regardless of what you think of Blaine Gabbert, barring a shocking Tim Tebow to Jacksonville move, he'll get a shot to play again this year.
They need to fix their defense and find a way to hit the passer and they have to boost their offense now.
The Jags were the worst offense in the league last season, and while some of that is expected to come with a rookie starter at the helm, that cannot be the case with a new owner and new coach.
Like with the two aforementioned teams, the Jags cannot afford to get off to a slow start with their new regime.
