2012 NFL Free Agents: Players That Have No Business Returning to Former Team
Sometimes it's just time to move on, and for certain NFL free agents, now is that time.
Whether it's because of a lack of opportunity or lack of respect between a player and management, these players need to find a new team and a new situation.
As free agency gets closer, here's a look at some of those players.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vincent Jackson, San Diego Chargers
In terms of pure talent, every team in the NFL would like to acquire a wide receiver like Vincent Jackson. However, just like so many kids entering the draft, you have to be worried about the character concerns.
Jackson went through an ugly holdout situation back in 2010 that forced him to miss most of the season, and he's also been suspended due to drunk driving charges.
The last couple of years in San Diego have not been fun for either party involved.
Whether or not V-Jax wants to come back, it's unlikely that management in San Diego even wants him in town. It's time to part ways.
Matt Flynn, Green Bay Packers
This one is a little obvious, because if the Packers were going to hold on to Matt Flynn, they probably would have franchised tagged him, and that never happened.
That's good, though, because Flynn is a big fish in a small pond and he needs to spread his wings. Er, something like that.
The four-year veteran from LSU showed what he can do when given a starting opportunity, as he torched the Detroit Lions in Week 17 to the tune of 480 yards and six touchdowns.
It's hardly a big enough sample size to predict future success, but it's the type of showing that leaves fans and pundits wanting more. Flynn leaving Green Bay for a starting job is the right move for everyone.
Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are rebuilding in the truest sense by pretty much starting from square one. Wayne will likely follow Peyton Manning to Denver or Arizona or Miami or Guadalajara or wherever.
Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns
After an extremely successful 2010 season got Hillis the sought-after (or not, depending on your stance on curses) Madden cover, he took a huge step back in 2011.
Hillis never really got going because of injuries, but contract talk and reports of the running back sitting out when he could have played really spoiled his name in Cleveland.
Now, it appears the Browns are likely to take Trent Richardson with the fourth pick in the NFL draft, but even if that doesn't happen, Hillis should move on.
It wasn't a happy year in Cleveland for Hillis or management, and the bruising back really needs a change of scenery to get back on the right track.
