In Arsene We Trust, Right?
At every Arsenal game there is always that red banner with the big white writing that reads "In Arsene We Trust."
However, as Arsenal has continued to struggle and been inconsistent this year it seems as though we might have lost a little bit of trust towards our manager. He may be a bit arrogant at times but he could quite possibly be the greatest manager in Arsenal Football Club history, so why is that he has come under so much attack and criticism this year more than any other?
I earlier wrote an article titled "Why Arsenal Might Sack Arsene Wenger" simply out of curiosity to see the different responses I would get for writing it. I heard the idea being thrown around a few websites and noticed that people had been talking about it so I wrote it simply as food for thought because the only way Arsene Wenger will leave is by retirement.

Arsenal currently sit in fifth place, three points behind Aston Villa, and 10 points behind table toppers Liverpool.
As Arsenal fans we generally don't find ourselves in situations like this. I have learned that this year I've had to defend the club more than any other year and not just the club but the principles and ideas that have come out of Arsenal this current season.
However, as bad as things may seem, all is not lost.
The win against Plymouth wasn't the best showing we had but we swept them aside quite comfortably with a depleted squad. The Gunners drew Cardiff in the next round of the FA Cup which is another very winnable match even though the Welsh club has had a good history when it comes to the FA Cup, Arsenal could have drawn a much tougher opponent.
In the Champions League, Arsenal is up against a Roma side that has been struggling even more than the Gunners themselves and find them without their talisman Francescco Totti, a big plus for the North Londoners.
It's a mighty task to ask Arsenal to win the Premier League this year but as much as the press and media have been on Wenger's case constantly reiterating that Aston Villa will finish ahead of us, I just can't see it happening.
Our club is a lot more experienced than Villa is, who have never found themselves in such a position, I can't see them holding onto the fourth spot much longer.
While all the "big four" are in debt, the Gunners remain with the least amount of debt, this is quite impressive since we built a new stadium just three years ago. It is good to have a manager that is aware of the current status the world is in economically so that our debt doesn't grow even more.
Yes I know we all want reinforcements in this current transfer window, but let's be realistic fellow Gooners, with the economy as bad as it is, players payrolls aren't getting smaller, this makes things a lot tougher on the clubs especially for Arsenal.
So far it has been a dissapointing season for not only fans but the players. Injuries have plagued our team worse than anyone expected.
This is the time when we need to show faith in the man that made Arsenal the force it is now because isn't it humorous that we are always saying "Arsene Knows" when things are going well for the club but as soon as we hit a rough patch, it's time to question him and buy buy buy!
Well it isn't that simple.
We are not Chelski fans, that is something I am proud to say because just as they were on the brink of bankruptcy a Russian billionaire bought them and all of a sudden they have an enormous fan base.
The fact of the matter is, the night is darkest just before the dawn. I feel that a dawn is coming sooner rather than later but now when things are the toughest for our beloved club and manager we have to show our true colors and give the boss our full support.
