2012 NFL Free Agents: Matt Flynn to the Miami Dolphins and More Perfect Matches
The time of the year for NFL teams to make their biggest splash for next season has arrived, and while they won't be able to dictate who will fall to them in the draft, one thing they can do is work as hard as possible to land free agents who will fit their team perfectly.
While it's easy to have your pick among a bunch of prospects, nothing is more appealing than being able to grab a free agent who will mesh with your team perfectly.
While these teams will likely have to battle it out for these players, the following players and teams are a perfect match.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vincent Jackson to the Chicago Bears
The Bears have a couple deficiencies on offense—ahem, the line—but one area where everyone knows they must improve is at wide receiver.
The team went all-out in acquiring quarterback Jay Cutler from the Denver Broncos, but since that move, they have failed to bring in a receiver who can really boast his skills. If the team can get Jackson from the San Diego Chargers, the Bears will certainly boost their offense for 2012 and beyond.
Jackson has been one of the best receivers in the league, and standing at 6'5", he is the perfect complement to what Cutler needs. Currently, his personnel is very small in guys like Devin Hester and Johnny Knox, so coach Lovie Smith cannot continue to let height hold this offense back.
They do have a guy in Earl Bennett—who played with Cutler at Vanderbilt—but that has yet to really take off.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis to the Green Bay Packers
The Packers have one glaring hole on offense, so the addition of "The Law Firm" would really improve their offense that is led by MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Green-Ellis has been a part of the Patriots' offensive game plan over the last two seasons, but this year he had an even more prominent role.
He is used to playing in a pass-first offense, as this past season he had just 181 carries for 667 yards. What pops off the page though are his touchdowns, which totaled to 11 over the course of the year. That is something the Packers could seriously use, as it would give them another angle to use when they get into the red zone.
It will remain to be seen if the team will stick with Ryan Grant—doubtful—as well as James Starks, who still has much to prove.
Matt Flynn to the Miami Dolphins
With his former offensive coordinator Joe Philbin heading to South Beach to take over the vacant head coaching position of the Dolphins, Packers' backup quarterback Flynn just seems destined to follow in his footsteps.
Flynn doesn't have a huge sample size, but from his performances under Philbin, it seems as if he will be best to continue to play in the system wherever he goes—considering he may just be a product of it.
In Miami, he would have many receiving options in players like Brandon Marshall, Devon Bess and running back Reggie Bush.
It will remain to be seen if the Packers will tag Flynn, as that would put a hefty price tag of nearly $14 million on him—a price likely far from what the team would offer him anyways. The Dolphins, though, are in need of change under center, and they may not be able to resist the addition of Flynn—no matter what the cost.
