Why Brady Quinn Should Shut Up About Tim Tebow, Worry About Own NFL Future
Brady Quinn needs to stop talking. Seriously, he should just shut up and start getting ready to work out for NFL teams this offseason, since his future in Denver is almost surely over.
By now Quinn's comments questioning Tim Tebow's humility have been plastered all over the Internet and he now looks like a bitter jerk to pretty much everyone. Quinn seems upset that Tebow leapfrogged him on the Broncos' depth chart because of what he saw as fans pressuring the organization.
Quinn's complaining really rubbed me the wrong way. Instead of being happy for his teammate and taking a humble position, he took that opportunity and came across as someone who may have even been openly rooting against Tebow's success.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I realize that Quinn's NFL career has been a disappointment thus far, but maybe he would be a more valuable commodity in the league if he actually cared more about his team's success than how things affect him personally.
When Tebow took over, the Broncos began winning and made the postseason. Regardless if Quinn thinks he could have done better, he should be praising the guy who helped turn around his team's season. After all, football is a team game and the ultimate goal is winning, not personal statistics or playing time.
Now Quinn finds himself out in the cold looking for a new NFL home after five disappointing seasons as a first-round bust. On top of all that he now has published evidence that he will stab a teammate in the back if he's not happy with a situation.
Maybe Quinn should be worrying about improving as a quarterback instead of bad-mouthing Tebow's personality. After all, in five seasons the Notre Dame product's passer rating of 66.8 is worse than the guy he ripped on (Tebow's mark is 75.1).
Apparently, the Broncos made the right choice when they bypassed Quinn in favor of Tebow.
