Klitschko vs Chisora Predictions: Challenger Not Worthy of Prestigious Bout
If someone can tell me exactly what Dereck Chisora has done to be worthy of a WBC heavyweight title shot, please enlighten me.
When looking at Chisora, here is what I see:
- An inexperienced fighter with only 17 career bouts.
- A boxer that despite being a heavyweight, has recorded only nine knockouts in 15 career wins.
Those two would be bad enough. In a short period of time, Chiosra hasn't exactly shown himself to be a feared monster that opponents should think twice before stepping in the ring against.
That is what we've seen from the likes of George Foreman and Mike Tyson in the past. Chisora is not that guy.
As if that weren't enough, there's another slight problem that you might have picked up on. In only 17 career bouts, Chisora has two career losses, and it doesn't even stop there.
Those two losses have come in Chisora's last three fights, including a loss in his last fight against Robert Helenius. So, in addition to being inexperienced and far too careful for a heavyweight, he is ice cold.
So, what exactly does he have working for him? Anyone? In no way could anyone realistically suggest that Chisora has a chance against Vitali Klitschko.
The champion hasn't lost a fight in nine years. He has been a wrecking machine through the heavyweight ranks. The fact is that there may not be a person on the heavyweight scene right now capable of beating Klitschko. If that person does exist, it isn't Chisora.
We are going to see a quick bout on Saturday. It will not resemble an epic heavyweight clash we've seen in year's past.
No, we're going to see Klitschko dominate the early rounds and end this thing quickly. If Chisora couldn't beat Helenius or Tyson Fury, Klitschko will have no problem defending his title. If this fight sees a seventh round it will be surprising.
Chisora is not a worthy challenger. It won't take long for that to be exposed.
Prediction: Klitschko by knockout, sixth round
