UFC: If Popular Fighters Owned Restaurants
Everyone likes to eat. Even UFC fighters who have to cut weight in order to earn a paycheck.
From Roy Nelson to BJ Penn, fighters indulge more often than you'd think. Some stuff their faces (Nelson) and others slim down with the best of them (Diaz brothers).
But regardless of how much these fighters cut and when they decide to do so, aren't you at all curious as to what they'd serve if they owned their own restaurants?
Huge steaks. Cold beer. Hawaiian cuisine. Southern style chicken. It's all possible.
Here's how each food joint would stack up against the next. Enjoy and keep your tongue in your mouth.
Rampage Jackson's Southern Kick
1 of 7Specialty: Southern Chicken/Wings
Signature Plate: Rampage Jackson's Spicy Kick in the Chin
Review: This restaurant is very broad, giving unsuspecting eaters all sorts of great food at low prices.
Rampage hails from Memphis, TN, and knows exactly what his people want. Spicy food, good music, drink specials and signature plates that would KO even Dan Henderson.

Nick and Nate Diaz's Californian Cuisine
2 of 7Specialty: Big Burgers and Unmatchable Wraps
Signature Plate: The Five Round Turkey Wrap
Review: Both Nick and Nate Diaz love to fight. Well, their California hotspot embodies that motto with great cuisine that's a true test for any rival food joint.
Big juicy burgers fall off the menus and their famous five round turkey wrap is a unanimous decision when it's your time to order.
But beware. If you can't finish your food, don't ask to have it boxed. The Diaz brothers may decide to drop their chef hats and take it to the streets.

Brock Lesnar's Beer Lodge
3 of 7Specialty: Beer and Steak
Signature Plate: The Heavyweight Steak Challenge (72 oz. prime cut beef)
Review: Brock Lesnar loves the simple things in life. Hunting, beer, good steaks and living in the woods with his wife, Sable.
Unfortunately, hanging out with the beautiful Sable while we track down an elk probably wouldn't sit well with the former UFC champ.
Instead, Lesnar's Beer Lodge offers its customers everything they need. Imported brown ales, classic American beers, perfectly seasoned steaks and baked potatoes to die for.
Let's just hope Lesnar doesn't retire from the restaurant game anytime soon

BJ Penn's Surf Shop
4 of 7Specialty: Hawaiian Cuisine
Signature Plate: The Prodigy Plate (Lobster, chicken and steak seasoned with Ka‘iulani spices)
Review: What would be better than sitting down alongside one of the greatest fighters in MMA history—in Hawaii to boot—and enjoying some of the best food in town?
Quite frankly, nothing. And even though BJ Penn's Surf Shop may be more expensive than your local burger joint, it does encompass the historic cooking and recipes that only Hawaii can offer.
I'm guessing Matt Hughes would order anything besides the signature Prodigy Plate.

Anderson Silva's Championship Cafe
5 of 7Specialty: Lunch, coffee, dessert and an overall chill environment
Signature Plate: Overhand Lunch (Turkey, roast beef, lettuce and mayo on whole wheat)
Review: Anderson Silva is a fairly timid guy. And even though he bashes skulls in when the cage door shuts, he's a regular dude afterwards.
With that said, the Championship Cafe is as cool, calm and collected as they come. Friendly waiters, low-key music and outstanding lunch sandwiches that would have any fan cheering for more.
It's kind of like Silva's fights. You know you're getting your money's worth.

Frankie Edgar's Shore Side Club
6 of 7Specialty: Night Club with great drinks and cheap food
Signature Plate: Frankie E's Bully Beatdown (Chicken marsala served with angel hair pasta, salad and an aged bottle of red win served by Gray Maynard himself)
Review: Frankie Edgar continues to prove his critics wrong. He's one of the smallest fighters in the lightweight division but has still withstood the test of time to preserve his title as champion.
His restaurant, Frankie Edgar's Shore Side Club, has everything and anything an elite UFC fighter has to offer. From tan jocks to lovely Italian women, to great drinks and affordable plates, this Jersey Shore hotspot has it all.
And if you're looking to gain some VIP access look no further. Edgar has red ropes set up all over the place for only the finest of diners.
* 2/4 Stars
Roy Nelson's Barbe-Cage Joint
7 of 7Specialty: Fight Fan Heaven
Signature Plate: Big Belly Chicken Wings (Greatest wings in the world)
Review: Roy Nelson is the unofficial "food guy" of the UFC. His belly says it all. Nelson likes to eat.
But even though he looks out of shape and halfway to a heart attack, the heavyweight contender has all the skills in the world, inside the cage and on the grill.
This barbe-cage joint is the quintessential UFC fan hot spot. Free PPV fights, a mechanical bull, arm wrestling championships and outstanding food culminate into one of the most badass restaurants on the planet.
And if you thought that was tantalizing, just wait until Nelson himself eats alongside you and treats his favorite fans to a free night of food and entertainment.
