Liverpool Should Sell Star Striker Luis Suarez in Summer Transfer Window
Luis Suarez has handled his emotions terribly against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, and Liverpool must sell him in the summer transfer window to rid the club of his distractions and bad press.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had some immensely strong feelings about Suarez after the match, saying via the Mirror:
"He's a disgrace to Liverpool Football Club, that certain player should not be allowed to play for Liverpool again.
The history that club's got and he does that and in a situation like today could have caused a riot. I was really disappointed in that guy, it was terrible what he did.

Ferguson has a point, Liverpool is a prestigious club with a marvelous history, but a player acting like Suarez has is something the club and its owners cannot tolerate beyond this season.
Suarez did not even shake Evra's hand in the pre-game hand shakes between the two clubs in another act of immaturity and classless behavior.
"I couldn't believe, I just could not believe it, Ferguson told Sky Sports via Soccernet. Patrice told me this morning, "I'm going to shake his hand, I've nothing to be ashamed of." But then Suarez refuses...
"
Ian McGarry of BBC radio wonders if Suarez or manager Kenny Dalglish will return next season, saying via Twitter that Suarez is a fantastic player but he has a history of being a distraction to his teammates and club.
Sky Sports reporter Bryan Swanson tweeted some comments from Dalglish that the Liverpool owners certainly won't like when they hear it.
Dalglish is not making this situation any better, and while defending your player is the right thing to do as a manager in most circumstances, this situation is one of those exceptions where the player is at fault.
Throughout his career, Suarez has not been a professional footballer.
In the 2010 World Cup, he blocked a shot at the goal line with his hand against Ghana in the quarterfinal, earning a red card, but angering many football fans due to the unsportsmanlike play.
This incident and the racial abuse of Evra are totally different, but they are both actions that a club like Liverpool, or any other club for that matter, should not tolerate.
Without Suarez for all January matches, Liverpool went to 2-1-1 in the league, defeated Manchester City over the two-legged Carling Cup semifinal fixture and defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the fourth round of the FA Cup to knock their rivals out of the competition.
Liverpool survived without Suarez, and they can do the same next season by selling the Uruguayan star and replacing him with someone else.
Since John Henry and his ownership group took over Liverpool last season, they have brought in several players to make the club a team that can fight for a place in the Champions League again. But with players like Suarez dominating the headlines, the journey back into the Top Four of the league table will be more challenging.
Liverpool cannot afford to keep Suarez past the summer because he has not been apologetic for his actions, and his immaturity does not seem to be getting better.
