College Football Recruiting 2013: The B/R Top 100 Recruits

Edwin WeathersbyJun 4, 2018

We're going to take a stab at the initial 2013 top-100 board today. I know it's a bit premature, but it's never too soon see how the board stacks up.

This ought to be an interesting read, as we can track the fluidity of this board from now until February 2013 and see how it changes. Which names will stay on the board? Who will be added? Who will be removed?

First, here's the top 100 players for 2013 as of today.

100. Jake Raulerson, OT/DE

1 of 100

At 6'5", 250 pounds, Raulerson is already pledged to Texas.

He could stick at DE or tack on some weight and move to the OL. He's pretty athletic for a big man, has good play strength and is a highly competitive player that plays with great intensity.

99. David Williams, RB

2 of 100

Williams is a tall and long back that reminds me of Vonte Jackson. He's 6'1", 185 pounds and hails from Philadelphia.

He has offers from Notre Dame, Pitt, Rutgers, Virginia and Purdue among others.

98. Justin Manning, DT

3 of 100

Manning has the size of a 3-technique or strong-side DE type of player at 6'2", 275 pounds. He's got solid snap quickness, can get skinny and has speed to chase and pursue vs. the run.

Miami, Tennessee, UCLA, Arizona, A&M and Texas Tech are in the hunt.

97. Ethan Pocic, OL

4 of 100

Pocic will battle some great competitors this year for the top Midwestern region OL prospect title. He's 6'6", 280 pounds and has a wealth of offers.

Notre Dame, Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan and more have offered already.

96. Isaac Rochell, DE

5 of 100

Rochell plays OL for his high school team, but his future is at DE. He's 6'5", 240 pounds and had 97 tackles and seven sacks as a junior in Georgia. He needs a big-time spring and summer to show out his skills.

Alabama, FSU, Clemson, Georgia and Tennessee are notable early offers.

95. Riley Sorenson, OT

6 of 100

What you love about Sorenson is his 6'5", 320-pound frame. He can play OT or OG and hold his own with strength, mass and short-area quickness.

SMU has offered and others will soon.

94. A'Shawn Robinson, DT

7 of 100

Robinson stands 6'4" and weighs over 300 pounds. He can play both OL and DL, but DT is where he likely will play in college.

He's raw with his technique, but his size, strength and above-average snap quickness allow him to lean on OLs and toss to make plays.

Texas, Arkansas, LSU, Oregon and Michigan are on his trail.

93. Ja'Braylin Thomas, OL

8 of 100

Scout.com has already given Thomas 4-star rating, as he stands 6'6", 320 pounds. He's been leaning on DLs in Texas for the past couple years and could play RT or OG in college.

Baylor has offered.

92. Jason Hatcher, DE

9 of 100

Hatcher is a 6'3", 230-pound DE from Kentucky. He can also stand up and rush as an OLB in a 3-4 and can also factor as a short-area zone defender.

Alabama, Auburn, Michigan Tennessee and Arkansas have already offered.

91. Dee Liner, DT

10 of 100

Liner has already committed to Auburn and stands 6'4", 260 pounds.

He may be in the 280-pound range by the time he leaves high school in Alabama. He finished his junior season with over 80 stops and 17 sacks.

90. Matthew Alviti, QB

11 of 100

At 6'0", 170 pounds, Alviti isn't the biggest QB around, but somehow this guy gets it done. He does a little bit of everything and really does what he has to do to win football games.

Notre Dame, Illinois, Indiana and Northwestern have all offered already.

89. Wyatt Shallman, DE

12 of 100

At 6'3", 245 pounds, Shallman is a DE prospect from Michigan. Shallman has a revved-up motor, is always around the football, has strength to set the edges and flashes shed and penetrate ability.

Ohio State, Michigan, Syracuse and Michigan State have offered.

88. Earnest Robinson, WR

13 of 100

At 6'3", 196 pounds, Robinson has very good triangle (height, weight and speed) numbers. He has a very long strike zone, can high-point balls with ease and does a solid job of separating in and out of his cuts.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and LSU have all offered.

87. Adam Taylor, RB

14 of 100

Taylor hurt his knee last year and missed the whole season. However, he was over 1,500 yards in 2010 and, at 6'0", 190 pounds, you're bound to get a lot of looks when doing that in Texas.

LSU, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Illinois and Northwestern have offered.

86. Jordan Poland, OT

15 of 100

At 6'8", 335 pounds, Poland hails from the SoCal region and is starting to rack in some offers.

He has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, San Diego State and Boise State.

85. Greg Gilmore, DT

16 of 100

Gilmore is a 6'4", 285-pound DT with a wealth of talent. He plays with a good base, solid strength and has some quickness in his short-area pursuit.

84. Mike Williams, WR

17 of 100

Williams is a 6'4", 185-pound WR from South Carolina. He finished his junior season with 65 grabs for 1,269 yards and 12 scores.

Williams has offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia and Clemson.

83. Joey Bosa, DE

18 of 100

At 6'5", 245 pounds and from the same school that produced Jelani Hamilton last year, Bosa is one of the premier pass-rushers in Florida for 2013. He's a hand-fighter, stays active and will play with good pad level.

Alabama, Florida and Florida State are notable offers right now.

82. D.J. Park, OT

19 of 100

Park is a big OT prospect at 6'4", 315 pounds out of South Carolina. Park plays with a great amount of power and strength, and can play some OG for you too.

He'll be solid in the run game and with some seasoning to kick feet he'll be a solid pass pro guy too.

He has committed to South Carolina.

81. Kevin Olsen, QB

20 of 100

At 6'2", 205 pounds, Olsen has great footwork, excellent mechanics, sees the field well and is very accurate. He can push the ball vertically to all levels and has a good feel for the game.

Florida State, Miami and Michigan have offered among others.

80. Tim Kimbrough, LB

21 of 100

At 6'1", 215 pounds, Kimbrough excels at reading the run, stepping up to fill alleys and thumping ball carriers at the point of attack to make the stop. He can play sideline to sideline and is very instinctive.

North Carolina and Penn State are two notable early offers.

79. Alton Tenpenny, RB

22 of 100

Tenpenny broke his ankle in his first 2011 game, but those around the South know who he is. He's 6'0", 205 pounds and ran a 4.42 at The Opening, drawing Trent Richardson comparisons.

Wowsers.

So of course, he's committed to Alabama.

78. Ty Slanina, ATH

23 of 100

Slanina is kind of like Matt Jones, the only Arkansas QB that was drafted as a WR in the first round. He stands 6'1", 185 pounds and has elite speed. He's from Texas and can play QB, WR or DB.

He's committed to Texas A&M and Kevin Sumlin will figure out where to play him.

77. Khaliel Rodgers, OC

24 of 100

Ah yes, our first pivot player of the year.

Rodgers is a 6'3", 310-pound OC from Delaware. He has solid quickness off the ball, doesn't back down from mass and power, and flashes some athletic ability to get to the second level.

UConn, Purdue and Temple have offered.

76. Dorain O'Daniel, LB

25 of 100

O'Daniel lit up the US Army junior combine last month and likely will be moved up in the next edition of this board. He's a 6'1", 205-pounder that can play OLB, SS and anything else you need.

He's athletic, strong, can cover, sees the ball early and makes plays.

California, Florida and Virginia Tech sit pretty right now for him.

75. Ryan Burns, QB

26 of 100

Burns is 6'4", 220 pounds and is from Virginia. He has a strong arm, is pretty athletic for a taller QB and can dictate his own throwing lanes. Stanford, Virginia, Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia have already offered.

74. Garrett Sickels, OL

27 of 100

At 6'4", 230 pounds, Sickels can play DE, TE and even some WR for a team. He's very athletic and is one of the top players in New Jersey for the 2013 cycle.

He's got around 20 offers, including Notre Dame, Alabama, Ohio State, Rutgers and Oklahoma.

73. DeSean Smith, TE

28 of 100

For some reason when I think of Smith I think of Devin Funshess. Well, both are 6'4", 200-plus TEs with high ceilings and pass-catching ability.

Smith has already been selected to play in the 2013 UA game and has offers from LSU, Tennessee, A&M and Boise State.

72. Nick Washington, DB

29 of 100

At 5'11", 170 pounds, Washington is a great DB prospect and really can play FS or CB. He might like FS more, and he can play the position with great range and speed.

71. Peter Kalambayi, LB

30 of 100

Kalambayi is a second-level defender. Period.

I think coaches just need to get him on campus and figure out exactly which position he can play. He can play DE, sure, but he also can play any of the LB positions.

He stands 6'2", 235 pounds and runs a 4.5. Stanford, Michigan, Virginia, Tennessee and Clemson are notable offers.

70. Su'a Cravens, DB

31 of 100

Cravens has already been invited to the 2013 UA Game.

He stands 6'1", 205 pounds and is from California. A safety prospect, Cravens already has over 20 offers and Florida, USC, Michigan, Nebraska and Oklahoma are some of the national schools after him.

69. Demarcus Robinson, WR

32 of 100

Robinson is a 6'2", 195-pound WR that is just crafty. He has good wiggle in his route running, knows how to set up defenders and reminds me a bit of Steve Smith of USC coming out of high school.

Robinson has average speed, but he snatches everything in flight, flashes separation quickness and is a heady WR. Florida and Georgia have offered.

68. Chans Cox, LB

33 of 100

Cox has been known in Arizona for a few years as he's been a productive player since his sophomore year. He's a 6'2", 225-pound LB that will be solid in college.

Cox shows solid instincts, good strength, will pop upon contact and has some range. He has offers from Washington, Arizona, Duke, Arizona State and Oregon State.

67. Isaiah Golden, DT

34 of 100

Golden is a 6'3", 300-pounder from Texas. He can eat up space, sit, anchor and just make a mess in the middle. He also shows solid strength to push the pocket from the middle.

He's already committed to Texas A&M and should be a solid fit in College Station.

66. Aaron Bailey, QB

35 of 100

Bailey stands 6'2", 225 pounds and has 4.5 speed. He's from Illinois, has a strong arm and can make plays with his feet on the edges. I think he could succeed as a rollout, moving-pocket type of QB.

Illinois and Northwestern are his top two.

65. O.J. Howard, TE

36 of 100

Howard is a 6'5", 225-pounder that can play an array of spots, but I'll start him off as a TE. I think at TE he will develop into a murderous player up the seams, using his length, athleticism and release quickness.

Howard is committed to Alabama.

64. Tray Matthews, DB

37 of 100

Matthews' best spot appears to be strong safety. He may not be Landon Collins, but Matthews still has good recognition, fills alleys and lays the wood.

He's 6'1", 190 pounds and is committed to Georgia.

63. Steven Elmer, OT

38 of 100

Elmer is a 6'6", 300-pound OL that likely will be a solid OT in college.

He's from Michigan and shows easy movement for a player his size. Elmer is a solid pull-and-trap guy, can reach to the second level and has solid foot quickness.

He's committed to Notre Dame.

62. Ashton Shumpert, RB

39 of 100

Shumpert is a 6'2", 205-pound RB with good speed, a solid burst and a solid feel for the running game. He uses his length to run with a good forward lean and reminds me some of Greg Garmon.

61. John Diarse, WR

40 of 100

Diarse plays a little QB right now, but the 6'1", 190-pounder from the Bayou State will likely move over to WR in college. He shows good speed, creativity with the ball and has solid change-of-direction ability.

Alabama, LSU, TCU and Arkansas have offered.

60. L.J. Moore, CB

41 of 100

At 6'1", 175 pounds, Moore likes to use his length at the line of scrimmage by pressing and rerouting WRs. He challenges on the perimeter tightly and delays releases all game long.

Moore also has solid athleticism, speed and transition quickness. Arizona State has already offered.

59. Austin Golson, OT

42 of 100

Golson is already pledged to Florida Sate.

He stands 6'6", 275 pounds and is competitive, intense and very strong. He looks to maul in the run game and is a lunch-pail type as a pass-protector.

58. E.J. Levenberry, LB

43 of 100

Levenberry stands 6'3", 220 pounds and is productive on the field. He's always involved around the ball, has great ball-location skills and solid athleticism.

His top three includes Michigan, Florida and Florida State.

57. Hunter Henry, TE

44 of 100

Henry is a big TE prospect that stands 6'5", 245 pounds and hails from Arkansas. In fact, Hunter is a WR. But when you're that big, you almost have to move to TE.

He's shows great hands, ball skills, a large catch radius and can catch in a crowd.

Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss and UNC are among his top offers.

56. Hatari Byrd, DB

45 of 100

Byrd is a big DB that looks to be a prime-time safety prospect. He's from California and stands 6'2", 200 pounds.

Byrd's a hitter through and through, and also has solid ball skills on the back end.

USC, Arizona State, UCLA and Cal are standouts.

55. Cooper Bateman, QB

46 of 100

Stanford is Bateman's dream school, but watch out for Florida, Utah, BYU, Ole Miss and Colorado. He's 6'4", 190 pounds and has some dual-threat skills.

I am very interested in watching Bateman a bit more to get a full evaluation.

54. Tramel Terry, CB

47 of 100

At 5'11" and 175 pounds, Terry is a quick-twitch athlete and has excellent agility. He can play WR and CB, but I think CB is his best position.

He's great out of transition, and flashes elite ability as a cover corner. Georgia and South Carolina are the favorites.

53. Deon Martin, RB

48 of 100

Martin is decorated player, but missed most of 2011 due to a transfer-rule mix-up. He's 5'9", 190 pounds, elusive, quick and deceptively powerful. He's one of the top players in California.

UCLA, Oregon, Alabama, Virginia and Auburn are his interests.

52. Jon Reschke, LB

49 of 100

Reschke does what a linebacker is supposed to do: find the ball, tackle the ball carrier.

He's 6'2", 225 pounds and also has some experience as a DE. However, he looks to be a future LB and is one of the top prospects in Michigan.

Michigan State has already offered

51. Jake Oliver, WR

50 of 100

Not because of his race, but because of his skill set, I see a ton of Jordy Nelson in Oliver. He's 6'3", 185 pounds, has excellent hands, tremendous ball skills and concentration. He also runs crisp routes.

Clemson, Michigan, Cal, A&M, Baylor and Arizona have all offered among others.

50. Patrick Kugler, OL

51 of 100

Kugler can just overwhelm his opponent in a one-on-one setting. He stands 6'4", 270 pounds and is from Pennsylvania. He's the top OL in the state for 2013.

Miami, Stanford, Florida State, Penn State and Ohio State are early notable offers.

49. Jamar Williams, WR

52 of 100

Williams is a 6'2", 190-pounder out of Texas. He's among the top players in the state and a 100-level recruit nationally.

48. Hayden Rettig, QB

53 of 100

Rettig is a fundamentally sound QB that does a lot of things well. He's got a 6'3", 200-pound frame. He sees the field well, flashes excellent accuracy, has a solid arm and makes good decisions.

47. Jaynard Bostwick, DT

54 of 100

Bostwick is a 6'3", 270-pounder that reminds me a bit of Aziz Shittu.

He can play DT and DE and has excellent strength and even better snap quickness. He does a good job of pushing the pocket up the middle and can play the run.

Clemson, Alabama, Florida State, Oregon and Miami have been mentioned

46. Rickey Jefferson, WR

55 of 100

Jefferson is the younger brother of former LSU QB Jordan Jefferson.

He stands 6'0", 185 pounds. He's very quick and has SEC-caliber speed. Jefferson has solid ball skills and hands to help.

LSU and Alabama are his top two.

45. Daniel McMillan, LB

56 of 100

At 6'2", 225 pounds, McMillan is one of the best LBs in the country for 2013. He shows solid hand usage to shed blocks, reads runs well, fills alleys and is a wrap-tackler.

He also has good athletic ability and play speed to help his range, and will factor in coverage.

He's committed to Florida.

44. Keith Ford, RB

57 of 100

At 5'11", 207 pounds Ford is a reminder of Johnathan Gray, and it doesn't hurt that he's from Texas. He runs hard, tough and smart. Ford is very keen and aware with the ball, sets up blocks well and has a burst to his game.

Notre Dame, Baylor, UCLA and Utah have already offered.

43. D.J. Ward, DE

58 of 100

Ward is a 6'4", 235-pound pass-rusher from Oklahoma. He's got a great skill set, flashes the potential to set the edges and can also stand up and rush like a 3-4 OLB type.

He's been offered by Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M of note.

42. Adam Breneman, TE

59 of 100

Breneman is my top TE so far, and I think there's a solid chance he'll move up the board here soon.

He's 6'5", 220 pounds and can be a joker type. He can be an in-line guy, flexed, moved, H-back and play some WR too.

He's got offers from basically every major power in the nation already.

41. Brayden Kearsley, OG

60 of 100

Kearsley may be this year's Josh Garnett, as in the top OG in the West. He's 6'5", 270 pounds and has great knee bend, toughness and mans up in a short area well as a pass-protector.

He's committed to BYU.

40. Billy Price, DT

61 of 100

Price is a 6'4", 265-pound tough DT that hails from Ohio. He can work each snap and plays with a high motor, sound technique and high competitiveness.

Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, UCLA, Pitt, Nebraska and West Virginia have offered.

39. Lovell Peterson, OT

62 of 100

At 6'4", 270 pounds, Peterson is a big-time prospect from Ohio that plays in the trenches. He'll likely play on the OL in college and has great snap quickness, power and feet to out position targets within the first two levels.

His top four include Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan State and Michigan.

38. Brice Ramsey, QB

63 of 100

Ramsey already is committed to Georgia.

He stands 6'3", 195 pounds and has a quick release; his throws have pop to them. He can make all the throws, has good accuracy and sees the field well.

37. Ty Isaac, RB

64 of 100

Isaac is a bit thicker than Greg Garmon and stands 6'2", 220 pounds. He's from Illinois and is a RB with solid speed and agility who can play a little bit of WR.

He's big and versatile—two things coaches love. USC, Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Northwestern and Arkansas have offered among others.

36. Ben Gedeon, LB

65 of 100

Gedeon is a 6'2" LB from Ohio that weighs nearly 220 pounds. He's called "The Freak" by some because of his solid athleticism and playmaking ability.

Gideon's a sideline-to-sideline guy—tough, instinctive and physical. Watch out for Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan.

35. Jayron Kearse, WR

66 of 100

Kearse is a 6'4", 180-pound glider that is very smooth on the field. He's from Florida and has played QB some, but WR is his spot. He's long and has solid hands along with great speed.

He was pledged to Auburn but has flipped to Miami.

34. Darius James, OL

67 of 100

James is a huge 6'5", 315-pound OL that can play RT, LT or OG. He uses his size well and forces rushers to use a high amount of energy to get around him while he just simply shuffles his feet, punches and washes them away.

Baylor and Texas A&M have offered.

33. Cameron Burrows, DB

68 of 100

I have Burrows as a DB because he can play both CB or S. He's 6'2", 195 pounds and an excellent athlete. Burrows can cover well in man and also excel as a zone defender.

He'll stick his nose in the run game and his ball skills allow him to pick off passes well.

He is committed to Ohio State.

32. Thomas Tyner, RB

69 of 100

Tyner has an incredibly thick and muscular back, and will be a power guy in college. He's a bulldozer-type that has enough wiggle to make a few long runs.

He shows solid vision and can break tackles.

He is committed to Oregon.

31. Stacy Coley, WR

70 of 100

Coley is almost like a clone of Shaq Roland. He's got a lanky 6'1", 175-pound build and is a speedster. He's still a bit raw, but his RAC skills are impressive, and he's a very fluid-looking athlete.

Florida leads, Florida State, Texas Tech and Tennessee.

30. Kent Perkins, OT

71 of 100

At 6'6", 285 pounds and from Texas, Perkins is a talented trench player. He can hold up against power, mirror speed and get up to the second level. I want to see a bit more footage on him, but he looks good so far.

Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have all offered.

29. Dymonte Thomas, DB

72 of 100

I'll start Thomas off on the safety board for now. He's 6'1", 180 pounds and can play either safety, OLB or RB. Thomas has 4.5 speed, good athleticism and is just a very versatile, solid football player from Ohio.

28. Ahmad Fulwood, WR

73 of 100

Fulwood stands 6'4", 200 pounds and is from Jacksonville. He's long, tall and athletic. And his best attribute is his huge strike zone.

Fulwood shows great pluck ability and has good buildup speed.

He can catch in a crowd, has good ball skills and reminds me a bit of Dwayne Jarrett coming out of high school. Florida State and LSU are about the only schools not to offer yet, but that should change.

27. Derwin Gray, OL

74 of 100

Gray is considered an OT, but I think he could play OG at the next level if asked. He's 6'5", 275 pounds and is productive when uncovered. He works each snap, can maul one-on-one and also protect in a short area.

Auburn, Tennessee Rutgers, Syracuse and West Virginia are notable offers to date.

26. Nadir Barnwell, CB

75 of 100

Barnwell has very quick feet on a 5'11", 180-pound frame. He's from New Jersey and also plays QB for his high school team. He should develop into a fine CB on the next level.

Rutgers, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina have all offered.

25. Justin Moody, DT

76 of 100

Moody is a 6'3", 265-pound pass-rushing DT. He can get after the QB with outstanding snap quickness and athleticism, and has a solid pass-rush variety.

Moody, from Philly, has great range and can play in the backfield all night long. Rutgers has offered already and more are on the way.

24. Dontre Wilson, ATH

77 of 100

Wilson is listed as an ATH because I wouldn't be shocked if he becomes a jack-of-all-trades guy in college. He's 5'10", 180 pounds and has 4.4 speed.

What jumps off at you on tape is the explosiveness and burst he has. Wilson has a second, third and maybe even a fourth gear to skate by everybody with the ball.

Oklahoma and Texas have already offered.

23. Jaylon Smith, LB

78 of 100

Smith is a big 6'3", 225-pound LB prospect that can ball out. He flashes solid instincts, good athletic ability and has a physicality to his game to thump ball carriers.

Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and Michigan State have offered among others.

22. Evan Voller, OL

79 of 100

Voller has a 6'5", 280-pound frame, good play strength and solid technique. You can tell he's been coached well, as he does everything with purpose and precision.

21. Greg Bryant, RB

80 of 100

Bryant is another back out of the Sunshine State that stands 5'10", 190 pounds. He runs with great power and reminds me a bit of Wes Brown and a smaller Brionte Dunn.

He's not a burner, but is solid in a straight line, strong upon contact and can break a few tackles. Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma have offered.

20. Eli Woodard, CB

81 of 100

Woodard is viewed as a CB who could rise on the board. I think if he comes and shows out during the camps and combine circuit, he could end as the No. 1 CB in the country.

He's 6'1", 180 pounds and has elite cover ability. Woodard is sticky on WRs, athletically gifted and has an instinctive feel for WRs' routes. Ohio State is the favorite.

19. Alquadin Muhammad, DE

82 of 100

Muhammad reminds me a bit of Noah Spence, as he's 6'4", 230 pounds. Playing at Don Bosco Prep in NJ, he has been surrounded by talent his whole career, but now he's the man.

With great athleticism, agility, a quick first step and a burst to finish, he should be a star this year.

Oklahoma, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Rutgers, Cal and BC have offered.

18. Max Browne, QB

83 of 100

At 6'5", 215 pounds, Browne has an effortless delivery and can get the ball out downfield with the best of them. He stands tall in the pocket, can fire a strike and put it on point nicely.

Washington, Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma have offered.

17. Vernon Hargreaves, CB

84 of 100

Hargreaves is a CB prospect that utilizes the slow-play technique, in which he seems to be slow in his pedal. But it's a technique some corners use to stay balanced and ready to explode and close.

Hargreaves has excellent transition quickness, loose hips and stands 5'11", 180 pounds out of Florida. The big three Florida schools, Notre Dame and Ohio State have offered.

16. James Quick, WR

85 of 100

You want a WR with a work ethic? Quick's your guy. He works on his craft nonstop and stands 6'1", 180 pounds. He holds the title of "Best Player in Kentucky for 2013."

He grabbed nearly 90 balls for over 1,000 yards and 21 TDs last year.

Alabama, Auburn, Michigan and Tennessee have offered among more.

15. Tarean Folston, RB

86 of 100

This is going to be big year for Florida backs, and Folston could be the best of the bunch. He's 5'10", 190 pounds and has solid speed and quickness.

He flashes some shiftiness in the open field, solid jump-cut ability and is instinctive with the ball. Florida has already offered

14. Kendall Fuller, CB

87 of 100

At 6'0", 185 pounds, Fuller is a very good athlete that also can play WR. However, CB seems to be his best position, and he should be a good one.

He's got the speed to carry WRs around the field, solid hips to mirror and adjust, and flashes good transition quickness. Florida, FSU, Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State are notable offers so far.

13. Tyrone Swoopes, QB

88 of 100

Swoopes is a big and rangy 6'5", 220-pound QB from Texas. Scout.com has already ranked him a 5-star recruit, and he's a top-flight prospect thanks to his large frame, solid arm strength, quick feet and athleticism.

Stanford, Notre Dame, A&M and Baylor have offered.

12. Laremy Tunsil, OT

89 of 100

Hailing from Florida, Tunsil is a 6'6", 285-pounder that will likely be an OT in college. He barely looks his weight, which speaks to how much he's going to tack on in the coming years.

Tunsil is light on his feet, athletic and has long arms. That's the makeup of an OT, folks. LSU and Texas are the only majors not to offer yet, but I think they will pretty soon.

11. Derrick Henry, RB

90 of 100

At 6'3", 235 pounds, Henry is a big man-child with the football. His run strength is very, very good and he never is brought down by a solo defender.

Henry's speed is solid, he flashes good vision and above-average quickness to burst through holes. He's committed to Georgia.

10. Ricky Seals-Jones, WR

91 of 100

Seals-Jones is another big Texan WR at 6'5", 215 pounds. He's going to flirt with the "possession WR" label some during the process, but he's got solid buildup speed.

Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame and Texas Tech have offered.

9. Kenny Bigelow, DT

92 of 100

At 6'3", 280 pounds, Bigelow is an athletic big man with a high ceiling. He's from Delaware and gets it done all over the field.

He's got excellent snap quickness and plays remarkably low for a young player. He's already figured out that the key is hand placement and getting under an OL's pads; Bigelow simply walks them back into the backfield.

He is committed to USC.

8. Derrick Griffin, WR

93 of 100

Griffin is a huge 6'6", 215-pound WR from Texas. Of course, he uses that large frame to bully DBs and wax them up for the football. He's a huge red-zone target and not the ideal WR to try to press at the line.

He's committed to Texas A&M and looks like a big-time early get for Kevin Sumlin.

7. Jalin Marshall, ATH

94 of 100

There's debate as to whether Marshall is a QB or RB, so for now I'm listing him as an ATH. He's 6'0" and 195 pounds out of Ohio.

His speed is vicious for his game, and he's a great, agile athlete. He's put up great numbers and is committed to Ohio State.

6. Michael Hutchings, OLB

95 of 100

Based on the early feedback I get on Hutchings, he'll be a three-down LB in college. He's 6'1", 210 pounds and hails from NorCal.

He's a very good athlete, and his speed is a notch below Kwon Alexander's. However, he does have good range, can work and shuffle in his drops, and is a great zone defender.

Miami, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Oklahoma and Cal have offered among others.

5. Tony Conner, DB

96 of 100

Conner is a big-time safety prospect and probably will be graded higher than Tony Blanks. He's from Mississippi and stands 6'1", 205 pounds.

He's physical to play in the box, fill alleys and hits well. Yet Conner also has very, very good play speed and range to patrol the deep middle. He's a great RB as well.

Alabama, LSU, Georgia, the Mississippi schools and Notre Dame have offered.

4. Robert Foster, WR

97 of 100

Foster is very explosive off the line and has a quick twitch aspect to his athleticism. He's a WR from Pennsylvania that stands 6'2", 190 pounds.

Foster shows great speed, a long and large catch radius, and very good ball skills. He has offers from Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon among others.

3. Shane Morris, QB

98 of 100

Morris is a 6'3", 190-pound QB prospect from Michigan. He has "wow" arm strength, and what's interesting is that he's a southpaw.

He can fit the ball in tight windows, attack all three levels of the defense and also is a solid athlete that flashes the feet to elude the rush and make a play.

He is committed to Michigan.

2. Reuben Foster, LB

99 of 100

Foster is a big-time LB prospect at 6'1", 240 pounds. He's from Georgia and has been lighting up Peach State backs for some time now.

You can see the off-the-charts instincts, play speed, athleticism, strength and physicality to his game. He's already committed to Alabama.

1. Robert Nkemdiche, DL

100 of 100

Big Rob is a man amongst boys right now. He's 6'4", around 270 pounds and is very chiseled. I have him as my top prospect to start the year.

He's quick off the ball, can convert speed to power with ease and is an excellent athlete. He can play DE, DT or stand up as an 3-4 OLB.

He's got offers from just about everybody in the country already.
