National Signing Day 2012: The Top 10 Uncommitted Recruits Still out There
With National Signing Day quickly approaching, there are still some very talented high school football players who have not yet committed to a college.
These men could not only be All-Americans in a few years, but many of them will make an immediate impact and help their teams next season.
Here is a breakdown of the best uncommitted recruits with a prediction on where they will be playing in college.
10. Bryce Treggs, WR
1 of 10The wide receiver from California does not possess great size at only 5'11", but everything else about Bryce Treggs just screams elite.
He has great hands and enough elusiveness to allow him to score from anywhere on the field.
Treggs is most likely staying on the West Coast, as the finalists are UCLA, Cal, Notre Dame and USC.
Prediction: Cal
9. Jameis Winston, QB
2 of 10Jameis Winston already gave a commitment to Florida State, but many believe that Stanford and Alabama are still possibilities for the young quarterback.
Winston is considered the second-best quarterback in the country, according to Scout.com. He has good size and can use his legs to beat defenders as well as his arm.
The Alabama native said that he was waiting on the admissions process of Stanford to make his final decision, which means that he is probably leaning in that direction now that he was accepted into the university.
Prediction: Stanford
8. Josh Harvey-Clemens, OLB
3 of 10One of the most athletic linebackers in the 2012 class is Josh Harvey-Clemens.
The Georgia native played wide receiver in high school as well as linebacker, so he obviously has great speed and agility for the position.
Harvey-Clemens is still deciding between Florida, Florida State and Georgia, but he is likely to stay home with the Bulldogs.
Prediction: Georgia
7. Avery Young, OT
4 of 10Weighing only 292 pounds is usually too small for a top-level offensive tackle, but Avery Young has a big frame that could allow him to eventually become one of the strongest players in the country.
Young is considered the No. 5 offensive tackle in the 2012 class, according to Scout.com.
The Florida native is set to announce his decision on National Signing Day, and he will decide between Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Miami.
Prediction: Auburn
6. Darius Hamilton, DE
5 of 10One of the biggest questions for recruits is always whether or not they want to stay close to home.
Darius Hamilton has to make that choice, as the New Jersey defensive end will choose between the local school, Rutgers, and two schools that are much further away in Florida and Cal.
Hamilton is very fast on the edge and can beat most offensive linemen off the ball.
Prediction: Rutgers
5. Kyle Murphy, OT
6 of 10Kyle Murphy is one of the tallest prospects in the 2012 class at 6'7", but he still manages to get low enough to drive opponents back all game long.
The offensive tackle can cover a lot of ground in pass protection and will be a big boost to whichever team is able to get him.
Murphy has narrowed his choices to Stanford, USC, Oregon and Florida.
Prediction: Stanford
4. Ronald Darby, CB
7 of 10Although Ronald Darby already decommitted from Notre Dame, the Irish are still in the mix for the 5-star cornerback.
Auburn, Clemson and Florida State will also be waiting anxiously to hear Darby make his decision on his future.
He is one of the most athletic players in the country and could easily play on both sides of the football, but he will settle as a cornerback at this level.
Prediction: Florida State
3. Stefon Diggs, WR
8 of 10Few recruits have left experts guessing more than Stefon Diggs.
Diggs is an incredible athlete that can play almost anywhere on the field, from running back, to receiver, to cornerback, to punt returner. However, it has been very difficult to predict what school he will be playing for next season.
It is very likely that college football fans will know who he is by this time next season, regardless of what school he decides to attend.
Prediction: Florida
2. Eddie Goldman, DT
9 of 10Anyone who watched Ndamukong Suh during his time in college should know how much of an impact a good defensive tackle can make.
Eddie Goldman can be the next great interior lineman for whichever team he selects.
There are still plenty of options for the defender from Washington D.C. He is still deciding between Alabama, Auburn, Cal, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland and Miami.
Prediction: Florida State
1. Dorial Green-Beckham, WR
10 of 10Scouts literally cannot wait until Dorial Green-Beckham suits up in a college uniform.
The receiver has the perfect mix of size, speed and athleticism that can make him a dominant force in college or the NFL.
Whichever team gets Green-Beckham will get an instant impact player that will probably only last three years before he moves on to the next level.
The four teams still vying for his services are Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Missouri.
Prediction: Arkansas
