No. 2 Missouri Tigers Stunned in Stillwater, 79-72
Missouri (18-2) came in as one of the hottest teams in the entire country, but their star-studded group of guards were stunned by Oklahoma State, 79-72.
One of the biggest reasons upsets occur is thanks to the underdog shooting lights out. True freshman Le'Bryan Nash was unconscious the entire night, capping off an improbable and career-high 27 points.
Nash went 12-of-18 from the field and could not be stopped, regardless of who Mizzu put on him. The McDonald's All-American was impressive since he came in averaging just 12.5 points.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
The Pokes (10-10) were just 2-4 in Big 12 play because they failed to put enough points on the board, but boy, did they ever against Missouri.
Missouri's defense lived and died by turnovers, which led to quick and easy transition points by an array of guards that seemed unstoppable.
Instead, Brian Williams came out of nowhere to put up 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Markel Brown of course was one of their starting guards, but he was ejected for taunting after a few highlight-reel dunks earlier in the ball game.
Missouri's Marcus Denmon came in as one of the top guards in America, and he left with one of his worst performances of the season. Denmon scored 15 points but it took him 12 shots to get there, and nobody else played out of their minds for the Tigers.
Well, outside of Ricardo Ratliffe, since he has continued to put up sensational numbers.
Ratliffe has been a monster in recent games, coming off 65 points and 18 rebounds combined in his last three games. He ended up with 25 points and 12 rebounds, all in the losing effort.
The true reason for the loss was allowing Oklahoma State to shoot nearly 60 percent and due to their leaders, such as Kim English and Phil Pressey, both of whom struggled.
English needs to turn it around alongside both Pressey brothers with Kansas still on the schedule (twice), but Texas will be awaiting these Tigers on Big Monday.
Also, Missouri was one of the best teams in the nation shooting from distance, averaging 8.1 threes a game (38th) as well as shooting 39.3 percent (25th). The Tigers were putrid going 4-of-19 with English and Flip Pressey eating a bagel out of six attempts (Denmon 2-of-8).
Oklahoma State still will likely need to pull off a miracle by winning the Big 12 tournament to have any chance of playing in the big dance, but Travis Ford and his Cowboys own the landscape of college basketball for the next 24 hours.
