January Transfer Window: Why We Should Not Care About Carlos Tevez Anymore
The biggest story of the January transfer window so far in 2012 has been the transfer, or lack thereof, for Carlos Tevez out of Manchester City.
The whole saga started when Tevez refused to come on as a substitute against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League in September and has not been seen in a City uniform since.
Tevez has been no stranger to controversy during his time in the English Premier League.

The Argentine's first transfer into the Premier League to West Ham along with Javier Mascherano is still in question to this day on whether it was legal or not.
Tevez's career at West Ham was short-lived, staying at Upton Park for one season before making the move to Manchester to join Manchester United.
Then, after two full seasons at United, he made the move to Manchester City where he played a big role in helping the club get to the top four of the Premier League, but it all turned sour after his blowup with manager Roberto Mancini in Munich in September.
Now, the question is which club wants Tevez and from the fans' perspective, why should we care about a player like Tevez every single day of the January window?
The answer to the questions posed above is that no club wants him and fans are getting sick of hearing about Tevez every single day.
Two big European clubs with money to afford Tevez's transfer from Manchester City have backed away from a potential deal and a third is close to giving up even though they claim they are still interested.
Paris Saint-Germain were said to have interest in the star but the Ligue 1 club have pulled out of the race because of the long process that the transfer has taken and they have other targets, like Thiago Motta.
Another club that have now pulled out of the Tevez sweepstakes are Inter Milan, as they officially pulled out of talks today.
The final club that has shown genuine interest in Tevez are Inter's rivals, AC Milan, who claim they still have interest but are far apart with Manchester City on the amount of transfer fee.
As a football fan, this is my chance to say that I personally am sick and tired of hearing about Tevez.
Yes, I understand that this is how any transfer period works and that if a deal is done it will most likely happen on the last day of the transfer period, but the rumors and speculation surrounding Tevez, a player who is mired in controversy at the moment, baffles me.
If I were a top club like AC Milan, Inter or PSG, I would not even take a chance on Tevez, even if his goal-scoring record is impressive. I would not take a chance on someone who has a history of poor relations with management and will most likely leave the club in two years time anyway.
Call me a bitter fan if you want, but the Tevez saga has gone on too long and there are other players that are worth focusing on like Xherdan Shaqiri that are far more intriguing and exciting than the infamous Carlos Tevez.
