WWE News: Major Update on WWE Futures of FCW Stars Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose
WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, is absolutely loaded with talent at the moment.
One could argue that it currently features the best talent pool in its short history and that it’s filled with future superstars who will be main eventing in the near future.
Among FCW’s brightest prospects are Seth Rollins (a.k.a. former Ring of Honor star Tyler Black) and Dean Ambrose (a.k.a. Jon Moxley), who many fans thought would have been brought up to the main roster by now.

They’re still marinating in FCW for the time being, though, and I wouldn’t expect to see them on Raw or SmackDown until the time is right.
From F4Wonline.com (via WrestleZone.com):
"Top FCW stars Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have impressed WWE officials according to F4Wonline.com, and the report claims they both have spots on the main roster but have not been called up yet.
The reason they haven't been called up by now is because Triple H has said that he wants no new talents brought up from FCW unless the creative team has a solid storyline for them to debut with and a strong gimmick. Officials are very high on Ambrose and while they feel that Rollins has some areas to work on, he's considered right up there with Ambrose.
"
I want to see Rollins and Ambrose on the main roster just as much as anybody else, but I have no problem whatsoever with what Triple H is doing.
We’ve seen what happens when talent is called up to the main roster before they’re ready—see Jackson Andrews, Mason Ryan, Husky Harris, David Otunga, Michael Tarver, etc.—and the last thing we want to see is two studs like Rollins and Ambrose get the shaft because of a lack of long-term planning.
First impressions can often last a lifetime, and if Rollins or Ambrose were to get stuck with some lame gimmick or stupid storyline, it could haunt them for the rest of their WWE careers. Of course, no one wants to see that happen.
Ambrose is ridiculously talented in just about every area, and Rollins is great in the ring. So, the WWE should find a spot for these guys that makes sense, and if that takes another six months, then so be it.
I’d rather see Rollins debut on the main roster with a great storyline in October 2012 than have him appear on Raw next week without any sort of direction.
Triple H has the right mindset here, and that will bode well for the WWE when he officially takes over the company.
