Texans vs. Ravens: TV Schedule, Live Stream, More for 2012 AFC Divisional Round
The Houston Texans visited the Baltimore Ravens earlier this season and it didn't end well for the AFC South champions.
The Ravens didn't do anything special in the game, but they kicked five field goals in addition to their two touchdowns and put up 402 total yards of offense in the win.
Houston didn't have Mario Williams or Andre Johnson in that game, but they did have Matt Schaub.

What They're Saying
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle writes:
"Now the Texans have a chance to write their own history. If they upset the Ravens in a divisional game at Baltimore on Sunday, they will equal the biggest victories in the city’s NFL history.
The Texans know the stakes. They’re not satisfied with the 31-10 wild-card victory over Cincinnati. They like the playoff experience. They don’t want it to end.
"
Kevin Cowherd of the Baltimore Sun writes:
"You're rookie T.J. Yates and Sunday you play in the biggest game of your life.
Then you'll break the huddle and come to the line of scrimmage and staring back at you will be Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata and the rest of that punishing Ravens defense, all snorting and snarling and looking to chew you up, too.
"
Which brings us to the million-dollar question: how are you going to react?
Right now, nobody knows.
Texans Player to Watch: T.J. Yates, QB
The Ravens are going to come after rookie quarterback T.J. Yates. He's done a solid job of handling the pressures of leading a division-winner, but this is the most daunting task he's faced this year.
Baltimore features arguably the best linebacker to ever play football in Ray Lewis, and they have this season's likely defensive player of the year, Terrell Suggs, coming off the edge.
The Texans are going to try to run the football, but they'll have trouble getting that done against this front.
If Houston has any chance, they'll have to hope Yates can make some throws against a secondary that benefits heavily from its pass rush.
Ravens Player to Watch: Ray Rice, RB
Houston also sports one of the best defenses in the league, and they'll be geared up to stop Ray Rice at all costs.
All four of the Ravens' losses this season featured the same thing: Ray Rice with less than 14 carries.
In Baltimore's end-of-the-season 6-1 stretch, all six wins saw Rice with more than 20 carries, while the one loss featured only 10.
Plain and simple, this team needs to give Rice the ball to win games.
Key Matchup: Texans O-Line vs. Ravens' Front Seven
This was touched on earlier with the Yates situation, but he won't survive at all if the line can't handle the pressure. It is also the Texans' o-line's job to open up some running lanes for Arian Foster.
Houston's all-purpose back can make plays out of the backfield, but the Ravens' defense won't respect anything if the Texans can't get a push in the run game.
If Houston allows the Ravens to dominate up front, this game will be over before halftime.
On the Hot Seat: Joe Flacco, QB, Ravens
Flacco opened his mouth this week to basically whine about the media.
He's won at least one playoff game in each of his first three seasons, but he's completely inconsistent.
Flacco needs to come out and play solid football in this game.
Prediction: Ravens 27, Texans 17
