WWE: Has Ring of Honor Become a Better Developmental League Than FCW?
CM Punk and Bryan Danielson are two of ROH's best success stories, as they are both the respective WWE and World Champions on Raw and SmackDown.
Now Seth Rollins (Tyler Black in ROH) and Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli in ROH) are starting to show up at WWE events.
Other WWE names like Kaval, Matt Striker and Scotty Goldman (Colt Cabana in ROH) had some time with ROH before going to WWE, although Striker is the only employee left of those.

Chris Hero has also been rumored to be making his way to WWE. All this leads to one question: Is ROH a better developmental league for WWE than FCW has been?
FCW is WWE's equivalent to a farm league where guys they hire who are not ready for the big times go to train with WWE trainers and other hopeful WWE wrestlers.
Some guys never make it out of developmental, while others go on to great success. Some skip the whole process and go right to the main roster, although those people generally have some kind of history with WWE.
Ring of Honor is the third-ranked promotion in the U.S. right behind TNA and WWE, but many of their fans would tell you that they are number one in overall quality.
ROH focuses more on the in-ring action than storylines and drama, although they do advance feuds through promos and backstage segments.
Looking at some of the names who have passed through ROH, you have to wonder why this promotion is not much more well known.
Sinclair Broadcasting is now handling ROH and their TV exposure will no doubt continue to increase as time goes on, but you have to be amazed at what they have been able to do already.
Ring of Honor is home to some of the best wrestling in the world, and they make no effort to hide the fact that they have produced some of the best talent in the wrestling industry.
Many TNA standouts like Bryan Kendrick, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries and the Motor City Machine Guns have gone through ROH on their way to success in TNA.
WWE and ROH seem to have developed a symbiotic relationship over the past few years. WWE has been pilfering their best talents while ROH keeps gaining exposure for having brought up some of WWE's best superstars.
With ROH being under new management, it is unlikely WWE will make any attempt to buy them, but it is not out of the question for the WWE network to replay ROH content featuring WWE superstars.
I would love to see some kind of working relationship develop between ROH and WWE. It could only serve to help both companies.
