Falcons vs. Giants: Winner Will Get Crushed by Green Bay Packers
Unfortunately for the winner of Sunday's NFC Wild Card Round matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants, the divisional round brings with it not only a road game, but a face-off with the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers.
Not surprisingly, though, the inevitable result of next Sunday's NFC divisional round matchup is a crushing Packers' win in front of a hungry green and yellow sea of cheeseheads.
The NFC's No. 1 overall seed has been beaten once all season and is 21-1 in its last 22 games dating back to Christmas 2010. Oh yeah, and the Pack already dropped both the Falcons and Giants this season on their way to a 15-1 regular season record.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Even more impressive is the fact that both Green Bay wins came away from Lambeau Field, a 25-14 win in the Georgia Dome in Week 5 on Sunday night and a 38-35 thriller at MetLife Stadium back in Week 13.
Neither defense looked cut out to stop Aaron Rodgers and company either. Rodgers threw for a combined 765 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in those two games against Atlanta and NY. His average passer rating was 111.6.
Outside of those two games, the Packers were 8-0 at home this season, and have not lost at Lambeau Field since suffering an overtime defeat to the Miami Dolphins in Green Bay back in October 2010.
Having won 13 consecutive home games and four consecutive elimination games dating back to last year's remarkable postseason run, the Packers are the team to beat in the 2012 playoffs, and will be an overwhelming favorite next weekend at home.
Regardless of which team survives Sunday's wild-card battle, the Packers are a juggernaut that has been trained to do nothing more than win meaningful football games. They are the most consistent force in the NFL right now, and will be an almost impossible out this winter.
The statistics in their favor cannot be denied. This weekend's NFC wild-card matchup between the Falcons and Giants simply cannot produce a legitimate challenger to Green Bay's throne. The Pack will have to wait until the championship round to sweat it out.
