Per CNN, at least five fires have broken out in the L.A. area, spreading across 36,365 acres of land. At least 10 people have died and at least 10,000 properties have been destroyed, while 153,000 people have been ordered to evacuate.
Monday night's NFC Wild Card Round playoff game between the Rams and Vikings was originally scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, but the league decided to move the game due to the raging wildfires.
Instead, the Rams and Vikings will meet at the Arizona Cardinals' State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday.
According to ESPN, a fire broke out "several miles" from the Rams' training complex on Thursday, causing the Rams to cancel their players' media availability for the day.
The Rams are reportedly scheduled to travel to Arizona on Friday night before holding practice and a walkthrough at the Cardinals' facility on Saturday.
While the Chargers share SoFi Stadium with the Rams, their AFC Wild Card Round playoff game is a road tilt with the Texans on Saturday in Houston.
Even if both teams win, neither the Rams nor the Chargers are in line to play at home in the Divisional Round unless there are multiple upsets.
The L.A. wildfires have had a significant impact on the sports world, as they forced the postponement of a scheduled NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets, and an NHL game between the Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames this week.
