Super Bowl 2025: Bracket Predictions and Odds for Favorites Entering Week 18
The Kansas City Chiefs will enter the NFL postseason as the favorite to claim their third consecutive Super Bowl.
Kansas City is currently 15-1 and will once again have home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs.
The Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles have been tracking right behind Kansas City on the Super Bowl futures board for quite some time.
Detroit's path to the Super Bowl could get much tougher if it loses in Week 18 to the Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota is the biggest wild card at the moment because it has the potential to change so much about the NFC postseason with a single win.
Even if Detroit wins on Sunday, there is a chance the Lions and Vikings could meet for a third time as early as the divisional round.

AFC Predictions
2 of 3
The Chiefs must be considered the favorite to come out of the AFC until proven otherwise.
Patrick Mahomes and Co. only suffered one loss in the regular season, while all of their other competitors dropped at least three games.
Kansas City's lone defeat, though, came at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. That result should inspire a world of confidence within Buffalo's locker room as it begins its run to the AFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs and Bills have been the two best teams in the AFC all season, and no one would bat an eyelash if the two rivals ended up in the AFC Championship Game.
However, the Baltimore Ravens will have a say in that conversation, especially with the way Lamar Jackson is playing.
Kansas City, Buffalo and Baltimore are in a class above the rest of the playoff teams in the AFC, and it would be hard to see a path for any of the four teams to win multiple playoff games.
The AFC's Super Bowl berth will likely be decided by a divisional-round matchup between Buffalo and Baltimore where the Bills hold the advantage because of home field and then an AFC Championship Game battle in Kansas City.
Kansas City would have the easier path to get to the AFC Championship Game and that might help with the wear and tear on players' bodies after a long season.
Prediction: Kansas City over Buffalo
NFC Predictions
3 of 3
The NFC path to the Super Bowl could either run through Detroit or Minnesota.
Detroit's defense has gone through loads of injuries, but the offense showed up every week to put up high scores.
Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Co. have rarely been stopped, and that not only makes the Lions a strong NFC favorite, but it will likely lead to some exciting playoff contests.
Minnesota might have two swings left Detroit in Week 18 and in a postseason matchup.
Either team could land the No. 5 seed and face the top seed again in the divisional round as the lowest remaining seed.
The Philadelphia Eagles look like the biggest threat to the two NFC North sides. Their biggest concern at the moment is getting Jalen Hurts out of concussion protocol.
If Hurts is unable to play in the wild-card round, it would open up an opportunity for the Green Bay Packers to make a postseason run.
The Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be formidable foes to the top three teams, but they've each displayed flaws in recent weeks that raise concerns about potential title runs.
A Detroit-Philadelphia NFC Championship Game has the potential to be an epic matchup, one that rivals the show Mahomes and Josh Allen could put on in the AFC, and there's a good chance we get that if Hurts is healthy.
Prediction: Detroit over Philadelphia.
