Report: Sirianni Showed Eagles Videos of 'Togetherness' amid Jalen Hurts, Brown Drama

With the relationship between quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown firmly under the spotlight in the week leading up to Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni reportedly took additional steps to bring the team closer together.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Sirianni showed the team videos of "togetherness" and group celebrations as a way of getting his message across.

The coach stressed "it takes everyone to create these great moments" and "we cannot be great without the greatness of others."

On paper, everything should be going well in Philadelphia.

After all, it is 11-2 overall and has won nine consecutive games going into Sunday's matchup against the Steelers. They are just one game behind the Detroit Lions in the race for the NFC's No. 1 overall seed and the first-round bye that comes with it, and they are playing as well as anyone in the NFL.

However, Brown showed plenty of frustration during the team's Week 14 win over the Carolina Panthers and even slammed his helmet after a 3-and-out. He then told reporters "passing" was something the offense needed to improve.

The situation generated far more headlines when defensive end Brandon Graham opened up about the relationship between Hurts and Brown.

"They were friends before this, but things have changed, and I understand that because life happens," Graham, who has since apologized for his comments, said. "But, it's the business side that we have to make sure that we don't let the personal get in the way of the business, and that's what we gotta do better right now."

Both Hurts and Brown addressed the situation Wednesday with the quarterback telling reporters "we're good" and the wide receiver saying the entire thing was taken out of context since he meant he was not satisfied with the entire passing attack in general and not just the signal-caller:

There is something to be said about the passing game needing improvement, as the Eagles are 31st in the league in passing yards per game.

That hasn't been as much of an issue because of the effectiveness of running the ball with Hurts and Saquon Barkley, but there may come a time in the postseason where Philadelphia needs to make plays through the air.

Still, it was a week with plenty of drama for a team sitting in an ideal position heading into the season's stretch run.

Sirianni surely hopes the videos he showed the team work to bring everyone closer together on the way to a potential Lombardi Trophy.
