Video: Jameis Winston Channels Eminem in Postgame Interview After Browns Beat Ravens

Jameis Winston stepped up for the Cleveland Browns in a huge way on Sunday, throwing for 334 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in his team's stunning 29-24 upset win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Winston, who stepped into the starting role after the season-ending Achilles injury to Deshaun Watson, quoted a "white boy from Detroit named Eminem" in his postgame comments, rattling off the famous lyrics from "Lose Yourself" while describing the win:

Even before Watson's injury, several fans and pundits believed the Browns should have turned to Winston as the starter, given the dreadful play of the incumbent. Winston—who actually served as the third-string quarterback last week—also expressed belief that he was still a capable starter.

"I view this as an opportunity to go out there and be my very best," he told reporters during the week. "And when I'm my very best, I'm a great NFL starter."

At least on Sunday, Winston looked the part, and all of the people calling for Watson's demotion and Winston's promotion earlier in the season looked pretty smart.

During Cleveland's first seven games, Watson threw for 1,148 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions, taking a whopping 33 sacks. On Sunday, Winston accumulated over a third of that yardage, over half of those touchdowns and was only sacked twice.

More importantly, he avoided the biggest Kryptonite of his career—turnovers.

"I thought he played well," head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters after the game. "I thought the protection was outstanding all day. I thought the guys really took the challenge of that. And I thought he got through his reads and the guys got open. He made good decisions. It wasn't perfect, he's not going to play perfect, I'm not gonna coach perfect. But I thought he played well."

It was as almost as if Winston learned he would start and said to himself, "Now this looks like a job for me. So everybody, just follow me."

And the result was a dub.
