NFL Trade Rumors: Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney Among Pass Rushers Set to Draw Interest
Multiple pass-rushers are expected to draw interest before the NFL's November 5 trade deadline, including the Carolina Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini provided the latest on Saturday: "Speaking of pass rushers, I expect the Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney, the Packers' Preston Smith and a different Browns vet, Za'Darius Smith, to draw some interest before the deadline."
Clowney, who is playing his 11th NFL season, has amassed 12 tackles, two quarterback hits and a sack in five games.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Clowney signed a two-year, $20 million contract with the Panthers last offseason. But Carolina is struggling through a 1-6 season and could very well finish with the league's worst record. At this juncture, the Panthers might be best off trading away players for future draft picks and rebuilding for the future.
Clowney hasn't been particularly productive this year, but he was in 2023 when he had 43 tackles, 19 quarterback hits and 9.5 sacks for the Baltimore Ravens. It's certainly possible that Clowney could reclaim that form with a change of scenery.
For his career, Clowney has 53.5 sacks, 375 tackles and 130 quarterback hits. The three-time Pro Bowler arrived in the NFL in 2014 as the No. 1 overall draft pick. He played for the Houston Texans from 2014-2018 before bouncing around the NFL.
Since 2019, Clowney has played for the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and now the Panthers.
However, it's very possible Clowney could be seeing himself on the move again, given his value coupled with the Panthers' struggles.
