Shohei Ohtani's grand slam ball to reach the 40 home run, 40 stolen base milestone sold for $250,320 at Goldin Auctions on Sunday, according to CCLT's Darren Rovell.
The Los Angeles Dodger joined the 40/40 club in late August after a walk off grand slam victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ohtani, the 30-year-old out of Oshu, Japan, was drafted to the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 where he spent six seasons with the team before signing a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers before the 2024 season.
The two-time reigning MVP has recorded 196 hits with 54 home runs and 130 RBI this year.
Ohtani, a designated hitter for the Dodgers is the fastest player in MLB history to join the 40/40 club, doing it in just 126 games, 21 games less than the previous record holder Alfonso Soriano.
The Dodgers and Ohtani aim to break more records as they finish the regular season Sunday, sitting in first place in the NL West with a 97-64 record.
